The place has potential but I did notice you have to set things up with dancers while they are on stage or they go back to the dressing room. You almost need a score card to keep all the dancers straight especially during shift change. I remember the name Gypsy but can't remember the face. Liked Melanie I think with the painted on eyelashes shaped like retangles. Failed to get a dance but did with Bliss. She is very young 20. Gave nice $20 dances. I said she did not need fake books and she said she was getting fake lips to give better blow jobs and I said let's try out the original lips. She said they were for friends what ever that means.

If anyone is thinking of taking a trip to Harem House, they just changed their opening time from noon to three. Closing time stays the same. They didn't really have enough customers in the early afternoon to make it worthwhile to open early. It may also be better because most of the day girls were previously leaving around six and the night girls coming in around nine so it was leaving an empty club for a couple hours. Now the day girls may be leaving around the same time the night girls come in. If business continues to decline the club may close completely or Babes (same owner) may close. There may not be enough customers in the area for both of them. I think Harem House is actually in a slightly better location and if only one of the two were staying in business it would be better to shut down Babes.

Bring them back down to $10 instead of $20. That might induce some to come in and enjoy themselves. After all, it is a blue-collar strip club and blue-collar workers wages have hardly kept up with the rest of the economy.

The alternatives are to try to copy a more successful club like Brad's or differentiate themselves in a way where they can tap into an underserved market like your blue-collar club idea. A dancer who has worked at multiple local clubs told me other club owners in town would never go to Brad's and observe why they have more customers than any other club in town because most club owners have big egos and think they know more than anyone else about how to run a club. So I don't think that would happen. Even if they did, trying something totally new may actually work better but the club owner just might not have the business ability to sift through various ideas and pick the right one. I think the current owner inherited it and heirs usually run a business into the ground because they weren't the ones with the business ability who built it up to begin with.
