I just got back from Vegas and look on the board and not a lot is going on. Little talk about imigration law a little talk about what kind of soup is better. Has anybody been to a spa and actaully had a massage? I don't go for the soup, but I will have to ask about take out next time I go.

The vote happens tonight to regulate the parlors it's expected to pass this could be the beginning. There are ways around it I will talk to a few of the mamas and get their opinion lot of loopholes.

Well it passed. Unanimous. License fees go way up masseuse must have 100 hours training. Basically the board can decide what ever they want. And put it into legislation. Only one Guy stood up and complained about the prostitution on a number of streets and the crime in the city among other problems and all the board is worried aboutis businesses that pay taxes and have no record Of problems. Best case scenario for a cash base business is they are claiming $1 for every $5 they take in! You can believe the deeper the spas reach in there pockets the more likely survival will be! Now that legislation is in place, there are state and federal grants available to the city and also to MVOC. If they apply and receive grants for the spa laws, that is when the real problems will begin! It will be interesting to see what transpires

Check out the comments by the president of council stating they wanted to get a handle on clientele and the people performing what may be illegal sevices on WKBNdotcom video.

As rumored, are they going to keep records on spa visitors? What is massage training? If it is certified classes, we are screwed for seeing much of a change in scenery. The one thing I did learn in the last few weeks is they are going to limit the number of permits for new providers. Like I have said on a few occasions, they are going to try to set an example and make it heard! I am sure in the next few days the certified letters will find their way to the spa owners and will advise them the time frame they have to comply with any new regulations. I'm sure some of the ladies will find it easier to go to other areas of the country and work than get training, hopefully this doesn't mean the few quality providers we have will disappear!

Think how much money Sun generated for the city just in their move alone? I don't know about you guys but my morale compass is on the right path now thanks to the great city fathers today.

There is a way around this I cannot post but will talk to mama at sun and few othere places. And see what there view on this is. Need to find out if they (the owners) have consaulted with there attorneys. On another note maybe some of the workers will migrate to the spas that are not effected. Till something is resolved

I'm sure all the churches involved will spread some of that collection basket money into the city coffers.
