A 64 year old man was beaten to death by two guys in their 20's. The two guys who beat him have surrendered to police.
I was talking to a guy sitting at the bar the next day. He said he was beaten badly. And no one knew about it until someone wandered in.

As per usual
Spoke to a few dancers that were present that night. Definitely not the story that happened. The gals told me staff was extremely fast acting and were in the bathroom within less then a minute. Also, the victim was not beaten. Possibly punched or pushed down. He apparently hit his head on the tile.
Just what I heard though.

Closing
Wonder how long it will take to shutter the doors on the place?
I don't think it will happen. This is a case of either targeted guy for something he owed these two guys or just random violence. Violence happens at all night places including homocide, but that does not mean the place is closed by the police. Now if the case turns into a drug transaction, I can see why the place would be shut down. Also, if the case involved any of the workers there, I can see that happen as well.
I believe Venom is well connected so it will stay open.
Cheers.

This place has more lives than a cat. It has been there for at least 20 years, and will be there for another 20. Every time they get in trouble with the liquor board, they just sell the place and the liquor license, change the name, and then go back to business as (almost) usual. It was the Candy Store, and before that it was something else (Can't remember now). The name changes, but what goes on inside will always be the same.
Agreed. Used to be temptations. I remember taking girls hone from that club long ago when I had more game than cash. LOL.
This was the first club I ever visited. I was 18 and met a dancer at a night club. She told me where she worked and I was in heaven. I didn't even spend money. She hooked it up, bought me breakfast then took advantage of me.
Damn, I miss Drisana. Later she moved to Curved and eventually just became an escort. She was fun times.

The body Shop used to be in the building where the pawn shop is south of 29'th st. It moved around the mid 80's (I think) There may have been some other names and owners in there also as I left Tucson a LLOOOONNNGG time ago and just visit ocassionally now.
