Based on recent write ups decided to pay Ivy a visit. Boy, Just got back from Ivy and let me tell ya, had one of the worst experiences. Was cheated on time by 15 minutes and massage was non-existence. When she came in she went straight with the nuru rubbing and after about 5 min she had me flip. Continued with the nuru then went for the boys. Then slipped on the cover and we went at it for about 10. I finished and got cleaned up. Then she gave a few back walks and a lame ass massage for the next 15. Then she said do you want water? I then asked her we're done? Looked at the phone and was 15 short. I let het know and she rubbed me for another 10 and said finish. Tipped a c note and she made a fuss about that. Said buck twenty and wouldn't let me leave. Was standing by the door and made a fuss about twenty for the next 5 and finally let me out. Shoulda listen to you all and went down the street.

I heard she was there after the trouble for a while but then went on "vacation".

I think they are gettin used to guys not wanting much of a massage. I'm a soft rub guy myself, which hopefully will include some teasing. Cc's looks are insane on the AMP scale (in my eyes). I always go in here knowing what is going to happen and not expecting a thereaputic massage. My trick for getting my money's worth here is before I go, I will have a great meeting with my favorite porn star (via iPad) so I don't go in loaded. I did this my last three visits and I got my full hour, and my money's worth. I think she enjoyed it too, and probably ha to take a nap afterwards.

Lets just say you don't go to IVY for a good massage and yes this sounds like a Marigold experience, especially with the tip. I had the exact opposite experience with CC. She did ask how much I'd like to spend but did not push me for more money. But just my one experience and I'd have to see her more to get a better handle on how she is.

I concur with Dmicheals. I'll have seen several girls at and have had great times. I've have had sessions go over an hour and some 45 minutes. Stills great times. Let's not kid yourself, time is not why your there. I'll have never even discussed $ with anyone there. Maybe you just didn't click with her, or you tried to lowball and she punched back. Never a discussion of donations and never asking for extra donation beyond the normal the normal tipping scale. I've also had visits over the allotted time and one just under but the way I see it, I had a great time during my appointment so I'm not complaining if its a wash when averaging it all out and I'm not complaining about the attention I received. There are plenty of really bad places out there and this one provides a higher level of service with great ladies. I've seen Cece and a beautiful woman w a back tattoo who I wasn't able to understand when she'd tell me her name.

I hate to discuss donations so I hear you on that point. $. 2 is usually the going rate for a full menu so the amount isn't off. When you mentioned the place down the street, if you are talking about marigold, well, let's just say you made out at Ivy. While attractive, the marigold lineup is probably going to want at least $. 3 for oral lessons.

I had CeCe recently, and she had the potential to make my Top Three of All Time. However, she pulled the "Complain About the Tip" garbage. Finally, I just said to her, "this is where you say thank you". She's still very talented and pretty fine looking. I had a great time with her. I tipped her well. But I think it's quite possible the overtippers and the pussy whipped throwing cash at her has inflated her ego and her idea of a price structure. Well, since it's a tip and I'm the one who is tipping, it's MY price structure. I still highly recommend Ivy, but CeCe won't be my first choice. I'll go with Tina, or try someone else there.

They do talk with each other about which customers are VIP in their opinion and duck a lot of guys.

They are similar to a tamer version of Sky One IMO. You need to tip significantly more here but at least the girls are capable of a memorable session.

I wanted to hit an apartment, but the ads near me did not have any reviews and I am a bit too paranoid about stings. So thought I would settle for some Sun. Went mid-afternoon, it was siesta time. Walked in and three of them were sleeping on the chairs. Oldest one got up showed me to room. Well the nap must have been brought on by a big meal since she let out a huge burp just before reentering room. Massage was firm went full time, but no teasing and moved her legs when I went for a rub.

Said it tickled. On flip she pointed to me to self serve, I moved her hand and she went at it, but restricted her top. I did notice a funky smell. Perhaps since I wanted an apt but settled for an AMP it may have clouded my visit, but just below average to me. If I return I will hopefully get a different woman.

But are you saying you have to go $. 2 above average just so they might want to see you as a customer again? They already charge that much more for entry than average. What do others think of this? Is Ivy worth that much more?

Welcome to the forum MMS! A lot of us tip based on good service and not how the girls look. If a lady chooses to duck a customer so be it. The customer could try one of the hundreds of other AMP's in the Chicago area and find the service they want for the price they want. If the ladies would focus on good customer service skills rather than extorting more money out of customers for poor service then everyone would win. Once again, welcome to the forum.

Comparing Ivy as one of the top MP's and Lanes just up the street as the bottom, then I think your money is better spent at Ivy.

Lanes is I think up to 80 for the hour and wants a 40 tip (120 total) for a crappy massage with an old lady in a dumpy place. Ivy for the most part is about 160-180 for an average massage with some nice extra service that you will not get at Lanes plus with a nicer looking and younger girl. My thinking is that I would rather spend an additional 60-80 for something good than to lose 120 for something terrible.

Another reason why I think Ivy is one of the top AMP's is because of the following story.

Yesterday afternoon I went to the car dealership to pick up a brand new very nice company car. I didn't have any time to drive it far except home so today I had most of the day alone and decided to take it out and see what it would do.

Left home about 9 AM heading South on 294 and after about 15 miles got off at North Ave. I had a lot of fun with the car, was in a good mood and decided to get a legit massage so went to the closest place I had been before (York Rd) and walked in at 10 right when they opened. A mamasan in a full Kimono walks up to me, shows me the chart and I pay 60 for the hour. I get my clothes off and lay down and I hear her talking on the phone to someone. Another 10 minutes later and she is now yelling on the phone and I'm still alone in the room. After 5 more minutes I hear someone walk in the room and I turn and look and it's freakin a guy! He stands there and looks at me and says he can do massage because no girls want to come to work today. I sit up, grab a towel and say no thanks. He then apologizes and offers to refund my money. As I left he handed my money and told me he also has a place at 696 W Lake St in Addison but only 1 of the 3 girls came to work there also. I say thanks and leave. He really was a nice guy, felt sorry for him.

Ok, no massage there so I decide I want a Portillos hot dog and I drive to the one on North Ave at Addison Rd. While I'm eating I see Spa Lilly in the mall and decide to give it a try. I walk in and tell the guy 1 hour and he says 60, pay when you leave. A girl named Susan then shows me to the room, I undress and lay down. She walks in with a scowl on her face and starts massaging me without saying 1 word. Only problem was that her very long fingernails were scratching the hell out of my back and neck. I showed her the nails and explained but she just continued as usual. I had to stop her 3 times and tell her to stop. Then I told her 30 min got up and left. She was pissed but I paid the 30 when I left and gave 10 for her.

So, two places that either couldn't get the help or the help was subpar and that's why I think Ivy is worth more than some other places. Of the 6 times I have been to Ivy with Gucci, Tina, Cici and others I never had problems like this. I would rather pay a little more for great service than lose money with terrible service.

Avg Joe's report reminded me that I forgot to add that during session, women answered phone and sounded like an argument with man, lasted about 30 seconds. (may not have been an argument, it may just be whenever I hear Asians taking to each other it sounds like an argument to me).

"L" and I have talked quite a bit about the subject of customer service in her new legit store.

We made several changes to the store itself to make sure the store was beautiful and inviting. You can sit in the lobby and have a cup of tea or coffee. Some fruit or sweets, and listen to Chinese and Tibetean music as she explains the principles of traditional Chinese medicine. We dropped the price to $50 and she usually adds about 5-10 minutes to the hour. The massage itself is really very hard. Amazing from someone 4'10" and 90 pounds. OK, she does not speak English fluently but she tries and she keeps google translate handy and makes every effort to listen and respond to requests. I've told her she will be successful, because understands the idea of customer service. I'm not talking about extras. But I am saying, in any business, people know and appreciate someone who really cares about their craft and their customer. Bob

The only massages I have gone to over the past 4 months or so have been strictly legit by choice. If you want both it justifiably costs more. If you care only one or the other than tipping "standard" may work for you. Many of us tip more and enjoy having both. Plenty tip horribly since they feel they can keep going new places and never repeat. The standard scale isn't followed nearly as closely as everyone here professes. It's easier to just say on here that we do instead of opening ourselves to peer pressure and ridicule. There really isn't that much difference in what any of these girls ask in tips at any of the spas, yet there is more discussion of how much is tipped instead of how great she looks and how great her session was. The range in quality far exceed the range of prices. AMPs aren't escorts, who have an enormous range of costs. I'm excited to find out which girls are best and where to find them.

Sun in Glen Ellyn on Roosevelt Rd is next to a Dollar Store. Have been there several times. It's just your typical 60/40 h/e place with at best an average looking girl. They were friendly though.

Ivy, Cove and Marigold are better options and are only a 5 minute drive East. Lanes is there as well but stay away, terrible place.

Was feeling the need yesterday, and was undecided about what to do, call an apartment girl, or get a rub and tug. Haven't been to I for awhile decided to try and glad I did. MMS was very friendly and when the MT came in I was stunned. She was gorgeous, thin, wearing a skin tight short dress. Oh man, and then I get a kiss on the lips and a lingering hug. TS was good, massage was so-so but the finish was outstanding, at normal, not inflated pricing. No haggling over tip, no upsell. I will be back, maybe today!

Probably about 3 to 4 years ago they had a couple ladies who did not mind shedding their clothes but they rotated out and after that it was as you describe and that gets boring for me. The good part is they are pleasant and never ask for more tip.

Based on the good reviews and a recommendation received in the MP forum, decided to give Ivy a try. As others have said it's everything that you want a good AMP to be. Good location, clean, doors on the rooms, and a great staff.

Drew Gucci who is a gorgeous woman with a spinner-type body, very pleasant to talk to, and also gave quite a good massage. Although it was almost a half hour farther than I normally go, it was well worth it. Unfortunately I didn't get to see any of the other women talked about, but she was enough for me. If they're even close to Gucci (which if you RTFF they appear to be) you can't go wrong. No hassles, haggles, tipping issues, or anything bad on this visit, and not only exceeded my expectations but blew away anything I've experienced at the likes of Jun, Yun, Lux, and even Sky One. If you're on the fence and haven't tried Ivy I highly recommend it. Whenever I get my next massage it will be at Ivy.

Been there a number of times. Always leave happy. Never more offered. Last visit was my favorite. Didn't catch her name. English not so great. Ok face. Really nice body. Lots of teasing. On the flip let me lift her shirt up. No bra. Great rack. Standard finish. As long as you just need a standard finish they always deliver and the massage is usually pretty good.

I've had great looks and an outstanding massage and it did not cost me more and is probably true for others here too. So is probably more accurate to say in your experience it costs you more. I'm not sure where you have been reading but there are plenty of reports on the site of good sessions and good to great looks. I do agree the standard scale is not followed closely. I would be happy to read a report on an experience you had at a spa.

Got in right away today at Ivy. MMS was thorough with screening. I must have been lucky with my timing too, because the front door was non-stop shortly after I finished my TS and sauna. It serves as a holding center. Before you turn left to head down the hall, look to your right and you'll see the "chair of shame" as I will now forever call it. I only noticed it when exiting because there was a dude sitting in it. They hang a very thin curtain from the ceiling that stops about 3' above the floor. It covers the person's face and that's about it.
