On 82. There was one older was near the sandy McDonald's one more BSW. Near the stark McDonald's. I did not see anything on sandy. I am always looking for a new fresh hard body. This was at 1:15 Tuesday

I've had a bit of luck this summer out on Portland streets, but the scene is different right now than I've ever seen it. 9 months ago, there were cop cars everywhere, huge police presence especially on 82nd. These days, I can drive for 20 minutes and see not a single marked police unit. But there are a number of suspiciously nice looking girls out there some nights (and on at least one recent afternoon) , and they don't seem like the real deal to me. Tuesday night, one round trip on 82nd from Sandy to Johnson Creek & back, I counted six 20-30 year old moderately attractive single females just hanging around near a corner or walking along smoking a cigarette. More than once, I got lingering eye contact. Now usually, eye contact like that means,"I'm in the game. Are you?" But these girls were a bit too neat and tidy and they sometimes had nice hairdos. Rare to find a hairdo on a veteran SW. And in at least one case, the eye contact was with slightly narrowed eyes that said,"I'm trained in memorizing faces of suspects and I'm noting down your details as I stand here."

Two of them walking along, I drove past then turned a corner and waited. Both times, they kept walking straight ahead, although one looked pointedly at the rear of my car as she walked by.

Also, not one familiar or convincing SW was out anywhere I looked, including the NW. It has been my experience that on nights when they flood the streets with decoys, they first chase off all the real working girls.

Just a heads up, a report of one man's experience. I may be full of beans on this, but I've been doing this a long time and I've learned to think twice when the girl doesn't carry those SW signs of dress, grooming, behavior. These girls are dressed just a bit too nicely, have slightly nice hair with earrings, and are coming very close to authentic SW behavior (strolling aimlessly for a long time, eye contact, just standing in some random spot smoking) without quite nailing it.

The good news is I've scored nicely on 82nd near the McDonalds up near Sandy and on Burnside in the NW in the past month. (Burnside: older woman with a nice hairdo, a rare exception to the rule. Excellent service, if you are into 40-ish blondes.) Good stuff is out there, but we may have to invest a lot of search time before we hit it. And pass up attractive bait as we do so.

LEO has been working 82nd hard lately. There is some new initiative to get girls off the street and the help they need, teach them job skills, employment help, etc. They're not being arrested right away but instead are being entered into this halfway program. It's been very successful, with something like 75%+ of the girls going for it. So plan on keeping it up for several more months or at least until the next budget year.

NW stroll has been weird lately. Saw one being so obvious that it was funny. Spandex pants, sports bra and a stomach that stretched the spandex beyond it's design limitations. She was literally dancing, hands waving in the air, stomach rolling like the tide, on the corner of Burnside and 20th. She stopped the second the light changed and the line of cars pulled away. It was actually pretty comical to watch, but nothing I would have invited to the bar down the street.

To clarify my original post, when I said "walking a long time", I did not mean "a long distance". Most of the girls I noticed were in roughly the same spot when I drove down the length of 82nd as when I drove back, ten to fifteen minutes later. Following your reasoning, the two who were actually walking several blocks were likely not decoys.

On the nights she comes out, she tends to stand or walk on NW Burnside near where the Bitter End pub is, just before you get to Fred Myers, going up the hill. Don't know how others have found her, but I have been very satisfied. Makeup, hairdo, perfume, says "yes" a lot, takes her time, doesn't rush me. She has pretty good sized natural tits, well cared for, they are in excellent shape. My kind of babe. I believe she also works 82nd some evenings, the north end, around the Popeye's Chicken near Sandy. Comes out around 9 or 9:30PM (in the summer) , done by 11PM. Went out a couple times in the daytime this past week. Nothing in mid-afternoon in NW. 82nd, both days, had at least two, possibly as many as four working girls. My hypothesis is that she was done, going home, tired of walking around in those tiny little heels on a hot, end of August afternoon. The way she was groomed & dressed actually looked more like a lingerie modeling place than a SW, so maybe she was walking home from one of those places, although I can't think of one right off hand near the intersection of 82nd and Powell.

Was out Yesdterday afternoon, around 3. Cruised 82nd from Stark to Sandy and back a few times. Saw a couple BSW out, one in brown short skirt and one in white dress. A little too thick for my taste. Last Monday near the Sandy / 82nd corner, spotted a WSW walking NE on Sandy just at dusk. After having been up and down 82nd with no sightings, this was so obvious. About 5'8" and one of the nicer ladies I'd seen in quite a while. Dressed in black with heels, attractive and "solid" as in not skinny but not heavy. I was late to the spotting clearly as there were 5 or 6 vehicles making contact or turn attempts. Being too late, I continued on. Since I don't see a report on this, thought I'd post it FWIW.

Started out around 9. Stop did the chantilly lace sugar shack place 6 girls working nobody is the rack I was the only customer there nobody else around. Didn't feel like paying way too much for a show all the shows there tend to be pretty good with the right girl. Drove down 82nd not much there at all but around 10 pm thing started to come alive. Most of the action was centered around the sandy mcdonald's and in that area 5 you ugly girls who were really hard out. Has anybody noticed the states motel. Strange as it seems I saw a couple of girls going in the same room there at different times over the course of different days all pretty good looking with what looks like a hispanic guy opening the door. There was 1 w s w near the high school not 100 percent sure she was working but the oder did go off. I once picked her up at night not far from there, but let her out of the car immediately because I couldn't be certain she was over 18 and she said she wasn't carrying her driver's license. Second was a Latina or Black in jungle green camo t-shirt / shorts matching outfit, sheer black hose, boots. She was doing everything but sending up flares as she walked from Powell up to Division, then on a ways. I kept driving way down south on 82nd to get gas near Johnson Creek. Nothing else along there, or on the return trip up to Powell.

By now it was around 3PM. Coming back up north past Division, there was the Latina / Black in the camo t-shirt and shorts outfit. She may have walked into the street out of that Taboo video store. I didn't see her clearly as she walked out into the street, but that was the impression I got. Maybe she was looking for customers in there? Maybe she had just finished a quick date in there? Just wondering. Anyway, she was now walking along in the middle of the street, the left turn lane. That's right. Two lanes of traffic going north, two going south, and Her Lane in the middle of them all. And no, she wasn't just crossing the street. She looked pretty hot, sleek black hair hanging down over her shoulders, moving that tight butt a lot.

A few blocks further on, nearing Morrison, was a really old and weathered gal in a checked blouse and shorts working. She brought to mind that classic phrase,"Rode hard and put away wet." Not sure she had any teeth. No doubt she was working, as she wanted very much to get into my car.

Much further north up 82nd, nearer Sandy, across from the Glenhaven Park then walking on to the McDonalds was a very made up, bleached blonde in black jeans and a white sweatshirt, early 20's kinda pretty in a meth addict lap dancer way. Lots of eyeliner. She was clearly a pro, but didn't respond to my slowing down & turning. I went around the block and saw her stop in the sidewalk to speak to a guy who had pulled into a parking lot in hopes she would jump in. She was acknowledging that he had her pegged right, but.

I couldn't hear what the "but." part was. She gestured with her hands vaguely. Maybe,"I'm going to walk around the back of the block, off 82nd and you can meet me back there"? Maybe. Or maybe it was,"I'm going to work down at the lingerie modeling place a few blocks that way. Come see me there." I think she had a backpack, so maybe she had lingerie or some dancer's costume in there. For all I know, she was just saying,"I need to go get something to drink and I'll be back out here in 20 minutes and will be happy to join you then." Again, absolutely no doubt she was making her money providing service.

Two other girls were just stepping out of one of those dive motels past Popeye's Chicken. King's Row and some other one, walking north toward Sandy. They looked very much like they were just starting a stroll, but I didn't confirm.

All in all, quite a bounty! I decided to hold off till tonight, see what's out.

Had a brief bit of time Th night and drove Sandy from downtown to 82nd. Nada. Boy, I do miss the old days! There were three possibles heading up the hill from Sandy on 82nd, two BSW and one WSW. Did a bit more driving down Sandy and saw nothing, then doubled back to 82nd and drove south for a bit. The two that I thought were BSW's were on a corner north of McD's and didn't seem too concerned with more than looking at traffic. No sign of the one I figured for a WSW. Nothing from there south to the transit station.

As I was leaving downtown, there was an odd sighting on 6th and Couch, a not too bad young lady was waving as I drove by. At first I thought she might be a magnet or greeter for some nearby night club. But as I drove by, I didn't think that was the case. Now kicking myself for not checking that more closely. Of course, that is Old Town and you never know what you might see there!

I spent a couple of hours cruising yesterday went out 82nd.
