That was sometime ago though. The few times I've been there the last few years it was usually just one girl working and running her ass off with no time for flirting. I'm not a regular anymore at Flamingo, but my last trip there on a Monday afternoon a couple weeks ago was a total bust. Dancers were below average, the place had zero energy, and I left after maybe a half hour.

Years ago fabricated dance counts by dancers to be backed up by "counters" or DJs was common but in recent years I think its a practice that has pretty much disappeared, at least in the few clubs I patronize. Never had a problem at the Bird. Had a few disagreements with the dancer on the count. DJ serving as the equivalent of video tape replay overturned her call in my favor in every case when I was certain. Granted there are times when the dance is so good that I lose count. In such cases I don't care if I end up paying for a couple of extra $10 dances. Call it a tip. Usually at this club I don't discuss the number of dances. I pay what I think it was and maybe 5% of the time the dancer has said I missed a couple.
BTW, don't know how they work it now, but when I first started hitting the Bird about 5 years ago the dancers didn't have to split the $10 with the house and that's how they were able to find dancers willing to work like dirty birds for the low price comparative to other nude clubs. So the dancers were basically free to give free dances or work it anyway they wanted. That also removes the common incentive the DJ would have for boosting the dance count since they'd alienate the customer and the house doesn't gain anything, but of course the DJ may get extra tip out from the dancer so he benefits personally. But IME, the practice was always much more common and blatant in other clubs where the house takes a cut of each dance as they do in almost every nude club.

My trip to Cali-Girls in Santa Ana was not all that great, but some of my friends love it. All things considered, TJs with some pre-drinking is my first choice.

I don't believe it was Denise since this girl did not fit the body type you describe. I too have lost count of dances in the past and just take her word for it because it isn't worth arguing an extra dance here or there especially when she really worked for it.
I did not get kicked out and the dj was actually laughing at the whole thing and wasn't going to be bothered. He just went about his business of prepping music and didn't give it another thought. From what I've read, your best bet will be in COI. That section on this site has lots of information posted by some SC experts and I'm sure there are reports of day shifts. And my understanding is that the clubs in COI is a bit more condensed, so it'll be easy to move on from one to the next if necessary.
