The Rat Trap

This pole is hardly scientific. It ranks right up there with this one:

Since I don't beat my wife how do I answer?

It is Saturday morning and I am sober as a judge drinking my first cup of Joe. French Vanilla. I tend to like fru fru coffee on the weekends. I am contemplating the conversation I had this week with a well known to most of us, in the Biblical sense, well reviewed SP. The subject of Savanna, my beloved but seemingly wayward daughter, came up and she went ballistic. She had some sort of altercation with her and, seemingly, a member of her posse. I couldn't make sense of it. No, I got the story, it just didn't make sense, at all. It didn't make sense because I have no idea why one SP would attack another, and, it seems, Savanna you have now gone of the offensive with quite a few of our wonderful ladies. And it really makes no sense to me why a few of you guys are in the middle of it.

Isn't there enough business to go around? Don't you guys have a real life? Hey, I get it. It is the quiet season. Business may be a bit slow. Yes, there are all kinds of otherwise pricy good looking hammers out there doing the deed for peanuts, but it will soon be heavy tourist season and we will all be on here bitching and moaning that we can't get an appointment or that the SW's are asking too much. This is a total supply and demand cash business.

Seriously, now, please, someone help me understand this. Savanna, help me understand why you are being so nasty. Those of you on her posse, what do you hope to gain by this? I really do want to understand it. I am not asking you people to stop, I don't have a dog in that fight, nor am I out to get any of you banned, I don't care, just explain it to me so I get it.

Members of a group who do not appreciate the popular perception and profiling of that group should, instead of blaming the profiler, demand that members of their group change their ways.

For example, Asians have a reputation for hard work and overachieving. If I were Asian, I would demand that more Asians go on welfare and drop out of college since they are making my lazy underachieving ass look bad.

It is very easy to blame the profiler, protest and loot because you feel you have been treated unjustly. However, that anger should be meted out to those in your group who, through their actions, have brought this shit storm down on all of you.

In this world of video everything, people taking pics of their food in restaurants and posting them on the net, screen grabs from instagram and hidden pinhole cameras to say nothing of the fact that one of the promoters of this "Party" is a convicted felon. Does this mean anything? You don't want to know what it could mean for you especially in an election year where the Governor and the Attorney general are running for re-election.

I wouldn't go to that type of gathering if you paid me. Yes, it sounds like a great way to meet girls with no commitment of funds but IMHO the risk far exceeds the reward.

Attend if you want or not, up to you BUT all interested members in good standing are invited. And as far as election year I was trying to shoot for a mid November meeting as halloween already has plenty of parties. I'm open to hearing all ideas as well BUT I'm not frisking anybody at the part for hidden cameras. That seems excessive and banning cell phones would make the meet impossible. I do want to say however that I find it interesting that they only real party detractors also are the 2 people on here I bump heads with. So to reiterate if your in politics or some such this may not be for you unless your bill clinton (and ladies if he shows HE's MINE! LOL) but I welcome all good standing board members. I may also just rent a large suite at a hotel on idrive at drury suites and that will alleviate all worries with the room number given to the ladies to pass along. Ideas?

I have never been to one but now have read about a few. Here are the things they seem to have in common. First, as someone noted, there is a gatekeeper. Someone has to put it together or it will fail for lack of anyone in charge, a total cluster fuck. Second, it is at a private place and by invitation only. Duh! Third, there is money involved as a cover charge, and it seems to be something like a hundred bucks for guys. Presumably, this is shared to buy the booze and finger food and giving the SP's an incentive to be there. But I think for this to be even close to successful there will need to be at least 50-to-100 people involved, and the numbers need to be about even between guys and gals. After all, there may be some adult consensual sex that spontaneously comes from it and the last thing we need is some of the less successful cruisers complaining in the corner while some of you rock stars get lucky. And some entertainment of some sort might be good or those of us with ADHD will get board fast. So, looking around, I see a couple of our ladies that probably have the business savvy to pull it off. Paige? Ashley Monroe? Sabrina? And some others, for sure. But, sorry to say, as much as I love all you ladies, there are some of you that should not be involved in the planning or handling the money but certainly should be there for the fun.

Or, we could all meet at a red neck bar and just see what happens. Either way, I am on the road as the world's oldest roadie, sitting in the dark waiting for something bad to happen, for the next month so if it is going to happen for Halloween I do wish all a great time. But life with Rosie ain't all bad.
