I was in there last Saturday night. It seems pretty much a local neighborhood place. Maybe 25-30 people in the whole place. No working girls that I could see. Mostly just groups of people that knew each other. People were generally friendly though.

Did some cruising recently through OTR, and thought I would share my observations.

Most of the time, I didn't see anything. However, around mid afternoon, I would start to see a few BSWs on the loop north of Findley Market (up Elm, over on McMicken, and back down Race). I think I counted four total. One on multiple days.

The only problem with this part of the loop, is there's hardly any traffic on it. Pulling around the corner and stopping on a side street can still be pretty obvious to a patrol car that just happens to be passing by on one of the North or South bound streets.

At different times, I got the look from 3 of them while waiting at the light at Elm and Findley either pretending to be using the pay phone, or waiting for a bus (I'd then see them somewhere else 30 minutes later).

Took a little look-see at lunch today. Very heavy presence in OTR. I saw at least two separate county cruisers, three city cruisers and the city van. I also saw two vehicles pulled over in the time it took to do three circuits (two consecutive, then I ran over to get lunch, and did the third about 15 minutes later), which was enough for me. When I noticed one of the county boys giving me the eye, I thought that perhaps I was becoming too much of a fixture in the neighborhood.

I did see several friendly looking faces, but none that were familiar. Today was not the day, however, to get acquainted.
