I read the same story in the Courant today. I checked and both Krista and the guy have not made bail and are still locked up. The guy is screwed and looking at two felonies. At least Krista Lee is only looking at a misdemenour. I feel bad for her. She was a pretty decent provider, although she did admit to ripping off a monger. Perhaps he dropped a dime on her.
This part of the Courant article about the Krista Lee arrest was only in the newspaper print version, and not online. I noted the discrepency when reading the online article earlier this afternoon. Very interesting stuff here:
Police found Hachey at a nearby arcade with his son, who was later turned over to his mother. Hachey told police that he drove Ballard to the Quality Inn eight to 10 times in the past year. Once, she brought her 14-year-old daughter, he told police, and a 17-year-old girl who, like Ballard, got paid for sex. Hachey told police he didn't think Ballard's daughter saw customers.
Hachey said he drove Ballard because her license is suspended, and he wanted to be with her for protection in case something went wrong, the report states.
Ballard told police that she chose the Quality Inn, she said, because she gets "Choice Privilege Points."
"I don't have a drug habit, but I do this to support my three kids," she told police.
I hope she didn't keep a paper trail, especially for those of you that saw her when she had her 17 year old friend with her a few months ago.

ROTFLMFAO! Sorry for laughing at your expense, Garthy, but I have to agree.. the new security keys are a major pain.
I for one, thankfully, don't have to worry about it.. two keys.. one, with the chip inside, and
a 2nd for the door. I keep a backup door key on me, and a backup ignition key secured inside the car.
I learned my lesson.. Not quite as expensive as yours, but the key is still a good $$ amount.
Then again, my co-worker showed me how easy it is to get into any car, reguardless.. How do you think
most auto services do it? He showed me once, minimum damage. (a little scraped paint.) and
he was in in under 10 minutes. (and even showed it took less than 10 to disarm the alarm.) Gotta love
this kid! But, he also suggested the spare keys idea.. and it's kept me out of hock, and needing to call
the towing service to get into the car.
Stone, the magnetized box idea, sometimes good, sometimes bad.. the magnet doesn't always hold..
Lost 3 keys that way once.. one good bump, and they're history. Saw an old article in an old magazine,
suggested encapsulating the key into a blob of RTV Silicone, but it still keeps a chance to cure, and usually
needs a good clean surface, otherwise, same problem.. PLOP! gone!
Idea: same as the magnetic box. pull the blob off where it was hidden, peel the rubber off, and use the key.

I haven't, maybe others have had better luck. And the "serious" side of the club is expensive. A trip up to Springfield to Mardi Gras has been more enjoyable for me, although for serious action I think some of our other members may be able to PM you -- but again, probably outside of Hartford.

CT has been cracked down upon the past year, but anyways -
Better bets if you have a rental car or a friend that can drive you are-
Electirc Blue in Tolland, CT, about 20 min east of Hartford, and well posted in this forum
Berlin turnpike, from Newington to Meriden for SW's and with several strip clubs especially 2041- see posts under Meriden board
Finally, no recent reports, but try Blue Parrot in Southington about 20 minutes west of Hartford, known for Brazillians.

Personally, if I had the option between going to Tolland from Hartford or going to Springfield (Mass), I would go to Springfield. 2041 is a hole and they will suck you dry (and will do so without sucking you at all). EB is a fine club, but it will also cost you and YMMV. If you like getting off in a semi-private setting, it is your place.
The clubs in Springfield are many and no cover. I would recommend Centerstage or the Mardi Gras (in that order). If you want seedier, there are at least 4 other fully nude clubs, but bring your bullet proof vest for the others. CS and MG are perfectly safe. You will get a lot of attention for each jackson and take out is pretty easy.
Was there another incident at the Venus in E. Htfrd or am I hearing old news from last year? Who still goes to the Venus anyway? Is it still a Strip club?

Yes Sir! Another person got shot at the Venus. I've been there a few times over the past year with friends and we always ended up at the Gold Club. I don't even know why we go there but just to have some beers and talk some s@#t with the hoes. Not worth it, but take out is very easy for the right customers.

I still visit the Venus on the odd occasion. Same old Venus - if its really slow, you can get a fun LD+ in the LD chair, but otherwise a cheap strip joint. Cheap cover, if any ($2-$5); best $1-$2 viewing around; decently priced drinks; disgusting bathroom; almost always as much entertainment off-stage as on; TO opportunities if you either know or get to know the girls, fork over the green or are a Master of the Stoner Method (I'm not).

I feel for you guys. Everytime I read this forum, it's the same stuff in Hartford - no massage parlors, or one has closed. No good strip clubs, no good CL girls, only BBW escorts, etc..
I hate to even ask what the latest and greatest thrill is. I suppose I should just sit in my hotel when I'm there on Wednesday night and watch soft porn for 10 bucks.
I will be meeting another business associate (woman) in Hartford. She and I sleep together alot but when we are traveling we look for others to join us, men, women, both, whatever. Hartford has not been a success for us. Any recomendations for a place/club to go 'shopping' on Wednesday while we are there...?
You are just asking the wrong questions from the wrong folks.
You aren't looking for a P4P venue...you are looking for someone morally impaired enough to do a one night stand with a couple. Finding a man is not your problem...its finding a chick. Hit the bar scene. I would actually try out the spanish venues, but honestly...any bar scene will yield opportunity. Even Max's. I've also heard of opportunities at other high end bar scenes in the area in Vernon and Manchester. 10 minutes of querying locals will tell you the hot venue where singles mingle.
If you ARE looking for P4P, then I recommend you hit the net scene and see whats available. The New York Venue is only an hour and a half drive away, as well as the Boston venue. You can't miss on either CL wise. You can also hit the Fairfield county section of New York. Thats only 45 to 1 hour drive from Hartford.
If you are trying to pump Hartford and only Hartford, and you and your lady friend are attractive, then I don't how in the world you are missing. Gold Club is [i]no difficil[/i] at all for take out. Easier than EB, as far as I am concerned. The Blue Parrot is out of commission as of last month. Remodeling. No loss.
Beyond all of this the agency scene is well and alive. Hit the advocates. Not everyone's tea here as it can be hit or miss. If I and others knew your type, we could surely recommend something or someone.
I'm sure you are well aware that most providers anywhere are big on teammed up couples. They charge you more and get more nervous about it for many obvious reasons. Keep that in mind.
We all wish the menu was advanced as it was in just a few short years ago. But we all must make do and await...or make our own way.
