Truth is there are many, many providers out there who have commended me on how nice my phone manners are when making appointments with them.

LEO or not he went to far with his questions. The best thing to do is ask for some references and is if he knew any local forum members. You handled the call very well but you stay to long on the conversation. The best way to stop a talker is for asking him for some fact, do you have any references? Story about wanting to come home and some BF bullshit. I told her I would send her enough to get here if she sent me her name and the pics first, which she did. Blew up my phone but is slowly running out of steam. LOL.

Lisa. This one I saw was reported as a scam on BP by somebody else on BP. Ad looks legit, pics checked out, asking 300, (pics below). I was curious if the scam report was legit so I responded, got a response back on Friday and traded emails, several of them. Met her at a local bar all by email. BASED on that ad, (NO MENTION OF SEX IN THE AD) , here is the (to the best of my recollection) phone conversation:

HIM: I am glad you accepted my call, I want to talk to a girl taking my money a little before I see her, you know, see if we will hit it off in the sheets.

ME: Well, keep in mind that I don't discuss things over the phone, anything you are leery of putting in an email or text, I don't really want to hear that.

HIM: No problem I won't take up too much time, but before I see you, I am married, I just want to know you are ok with sleeping with a married man?

ME: { Awkward silence. }. I think you are not getting the idea, I thought you just wanted to verify I was a real girl by voice? You said you would not ask anything like that.

By the way, ever since I read a forum on here, that LE keeps a LIST / database of providers phone numbers that they archive, I no longer post my number on an ad, I prefer an email anyway, and not to mention, a lot of guys will call at all hours, blowing the ringer off of my phone, it only seems to deter a few guys who would rather call, or black their email and remain 100% anonymous. I always text, anything you do not want in a text, I do not want it either. There are enough review boards for a smart person to figure out what they are getting without putting YOURSELF in jeopardy (What if I was the cop?)

MY QUESTION TO YOU GUYS:

1. This was most likely a cop? (Or someone with NO CLASS whatsoever)

2. Do I need to change my number now?

3. What does him being married, wanting a shower seem so important, does it establish some "motive"?

4. How did I handle the conversation, where should I have hung up, or what should I have said different?

5. The "triple my fee" was trying to get me to lower my guard? (That sent it up if anything)

First let me say I applaud all the great choices up here in the Orlando area. Although I don't get up here as often as I would like because of my schedule but when I do I try to spend some quality time before I leave. As always I do my due diligence and my preference is to make initial contact via email or a pm since I try to minimize the number of calls I make on my phone. I guess I still haven't figured out how to discretely get one of those throw away phones dedicated strictly to my leisure endeavors.

Anyway here's what precipitated this discussion. I have had my eye on one particular lady for some time now. About a month ago I PMed her and got no response. I also noticed she had disappeared from the board during that period so I chalked it up to the fact she might be taking a break. The other day I noticed she had posted a new ad so I took the liberty to send her another PM to introduce myself and express my interest in seeing her. Two days later and I've got no response. What am I doing wrong? I guess I could call her but would rather make initial contact through the PM route. Am I simply barking up the wrong tree? Perhaps I should move on since there are lots of other great options in the area?

She responded back with a text message. I called again and even left a message with a phone number for her to return my call. Since you never know who is behind a text message (LE could have busted her and may have been using her phone for all I knew), I was not going to text without talking first.

After that, I dropped it and have not contacted her again. I think it is human nature, particularly for men, to want to achieve their goal. Some guys even take it personally. Some guys think that the one that got away is so much better than anyone else out there. Don't obsess. Move on.

Go to Walmart and pay cash for a TracFone. I think for about $80 you get a Samsung telephone with service for 1 year. Activate it at a pay telephone; the hotels still have them in their lobby areas. NEVER EVER use this telephone for anything other than your hobby, and one time telephone calls to people that don't know you and you will never speak with again. Simply throw the telephone away should you have any problems or unusual issues, and then go buy a new one (again with cash). Never use your home telephone or personal cell telephone for any telephone calls you would not want detailed to your employer, significant other, or any governmental agency.

To answer your questions, yes it has happened and I just move on! Sometimes the providers don't have access to internet and have to go to a macdees! Or other public places to get it.

Sometimes they just don't care.

As stated be / 4 I would just drop it and get somebody else.
