Sunday June 26 was driving up and down 82nd in the sweltering heat around 5 pm. Did not expect to see any but there were still a few walking up Sandy hill. Merry needed a one day fishing license & couldn't get ODFW online to work so a quick in person trip to Sportsman's was needed. Putting aside my copilot fireworks continuing anxiety. Sigh. A good holiday was had by all. Combination mixed limits of chinook & sockeye plus one steelhead on steadily warming day. During a sheriffs vessel safety & license hook check in mid-morning as my buddy pulled in last rod a nice sturgeon decided to gulp down his herring. I don't know if I'm blind or what but ever since the fence went up at the old 7/11 at Klickitat across from MacDons, activities on 82nd have slowed to a snails crawl. Only place that I ever find anything walking is between high school park and I assume sandy hill. Been doing the drive from JCB Sandy and back once or twice a week for a couple months now. What started out as a decent mix of good and bad has since turned into a short supply of ehh to bad. My recons have been random times including weekends.
