They have to want to be free of it. Last I spoke to her, she wasnt there yet. Being free from it means walking away from EVERYTHING in your life during that time. And she is stil stuck on the loser bf she supports. Sad really, he dragged her into it and is the root cause of the spiral. I am friends with the right people in the right places and have offered her more than once a way out. She has politely declined every time (and yes I did explain that the way out wasnt riding on my dick into the sunset, despite what I'd be ok with). I hope she oneday gets there and wants it more than she wants the drugs and the loser.
BQ22.
Agreed. The drugs often aren't the problem per se. They're a symptom of a dysfunctional lifestyle that often includes these women being informally enslaved by some gangsta boyfriend figure. Regular guys struggle to get their girls to go to the game with them. These guys have their girls giving BJs so they can afford drugs. In order to get off drugs, these women have to change the nature of their relationships, and that's not easily done. Extract them from one bad guy and they'll just find another.
The obscure 1982 teen flick "The Last American Virgin" should be required viewing for every potential captain save-a-ho (trust me on this one).
