The main problem with giving out PII

Everyone has their own level of risk tolerance and only you can decide whether it's worth it or not. An agency getting taken down by LE, or any number of different scenarios, could compromise your information. Depending how things shake out, job loss, divorce, and such have been known to happen. I'm sure other members can relate some examples, like the Ashley Madison incident, etc.
As with most things in the hobby, it's a cost-benefit and risk analysis only you can make for yourself because you're the only one who knows how much you have to lose. IMHO, there are enough options out there, including high-end ones, where I've never had to give out my PII. So trying my best to always think with the big head, and long-term, that's not a bridge I'm prepared to cross. Also, for anyone who works in a job or industry where security clearances are required, they're at a higher risk level because of the way those adjudication are done.

IIRC, several members have mentioned seeing expensive Eros providers with disappointing results.
Providers would love you to believe that higher prices always mean higher quality. In reality, some prices are strictly the result of provider GPS or agencies marking up rates to whatever they think the market will bear. Hot-looking Latinas tend to command a premium but that's not a guarantee of GFE or even good non-GFE service.
The only solution to the information deficit is to use this forum as much as possible, study the market, do good homework, and always think with the big head. The other pricing game out there is to jack up ss and hh prices. That's like a restaurant charging almost as much for an appetizer as they do for an entree with the same ingredients. Just. Say. No. To. BS. Pricing.

P. P.S. Whenever a $300 provider tells me her rate is justified because she's so much better than lower-priced women, I ask her if that means a $600 provider is twice as good as she is. I've never received an answer to that question.
