May be off the subject, but I like to see what you guys think
How long will it take for a nice girl in the escort business to turn bad such as drugs and diseases? I saw this girl who posted some of her pictures. One picture of her was especially pretty and innocent, but the others are who is now. What a shame.
I think they stay better if they don't have a pimp. What is their longevity?
18 months is a short life span
From what I have seen, I give even the really good ones a year max. 18 months if you are, icky, but that is pushing it. They faster in direct proportion to their rates. The lower the initial rate the faster they fall. My 2 cents.
I have seen Amber Tai two years ago and she is still in business. That's all the way back in 11. Of course her rate is much higher than most. I agree with the theory that the rate is the key element here. They higher the rate, the longer they stay like HappyHunter44 said.
Sorry but 18 months ain't even close
There are two well-known local escorts that are currently active that I first saw over 10 years ago. Staci, who was just mentioned in a post, I first saw at least 6 years ago. There's a woman in L. A, Megan Riley, that I first saw on a business trip about 10 years ago, and saw again on another trip in 2011. The list goes on. Every one of these women are as hot, as fun and as desirable as the first time I saw them. Some of them, like Staci, are not high-dollar, thought none of them are streetwalker or UTR rates.
If a lady keeps her head, stays is decent shape, is careful legally, doesn't get drugged up and (most importantly) honestly enjoys what she's doing, she can do this for as long as she wants. If you skip the ones that get balled up by drugs, I think by far the most common reason that girls quit the life quickly is that they never honestly enjoyed the work. Most fall into this life because they're driven by money, but they have all sorts of moral / religious / etc hangups or misgivings; there's always the nagging discomfort that what they're doing is "wrong", and over time that stress builds up. Some recognize it and get out before it fucks them up. Others aren't so self-aware.
But I would say that if a girl can command higher rates, that would tend to make it easier for them to continue living the life and easier to justify to themselves what they're doing.
I recall reading somewhere long ago that the only thing that separates the $20 street girl from the $300/hr escort is self-respect and opportunity... meaning that a lot of girls that are successful and high-end has nothing to do with their looks or skills, and everything to do with what got them into the life and at what level, and how they approach what they do.
