Sorry to drop this here, but there doesn't seem to be a section to discuss massage providers beside the AMP variety. Non-FS doesn't seem to belong with escorts.

Did you guys see Fox 5 news last night? They mentioned that 5 AMPS in DC had been raided. They showed a shot of the M.st spa, and they mentioned Orange Spa.
Seems that the Law is really going after these places hard.
The charges mentioned were human trafficking and prostitution.

D.C. Attorney General Peter Nickles announced a crackdown Wednesday on massage parlors, health spas and social clubs that officials have found to be associated with prostitution and illegal sex-oriented activities.
District agencies have been using new regulations to immediately shutter such businesses across the city, he said.
Nickles said the city will continue to take legal action against property owners renting space to such businesses.

A news release listed these businesses among those that have been closed: Orange Spa, 617 Pennsylvania Ave. SE; Star Spa, 1829 M St. NW; D.C. Wrestling Club, 1618 14th St. NW; VIP Spa, 719 Eighth St. SE; and an unnamed business at 1429 Parkwood Pl. NW.
The businesses could not be reached for comment.

Yeah, it was a 20 second blip if that....now was it really worth closing them down for a foot note during a 30 minute news story? What did the city get out of that? If anything the AMPs are pretty innocuous.
Wrestling club was a gay venu and not sure about the 1429 parkwood place...did we miss something? LOL

I gather these clubs have been open for a while.... did one of the girls rub somebody important the wrong way..... OR didn't rub them at all??!!!
Now if the girls haven't been forced into the business or sold as sex slaves, then whats the harm?? I guess there is no more street crime in the District if the authorities have the time to after girls providing us with a few minutes of harmles fun. Sorry I have a problem with the moral police, If I decide to visit a spa or escort, or whatever, then that is a choice between my conscience and my wallet!.

I think its funny that they closed an AMP that sits between a row of strip clubs.

We have some random lady stealing millions from the DC government and no one found out until a bank manager reported her to the FBI for being unwilling to cash one of her checks. We have judges suing dry cleaners for $2M over some pants. We have corrupt police officers, one of which was implicated in a botched-robbery turned homicide investigation that was also written about in the Washington Post a couple of days ago.
DC has much bigger issues to deal with and they decide to waste their resources on spas. What a bunch of morons.
