Over use of OTC drugs and development of anti bodies
I think everyone is forgetting about the over use of over the counter drugs and also the over use of antibiotics. This has basically lowered the over all herd immunity of the US and the world. If you do come done with covid 19 and recover your blood now has the anti bodies to resist covid 19 in the future. People who are very sick from covid 19 are being given plasma with the anti bodies and recovering very quick. The blood banks are looking for people who have recovered so their plasma can be given others. I wonder how much blood from over seas is pouring into the US for this purpose. I also wonder if I catch and recover from covid 19 how much my O Neg blood is worth.

It's called the beginning of apathy.
Doc,
I disagree somewhat. We used to think that you could accomplish things in the government. If a "libertarian" is Rand Paul, then it is the theory that government should do NOTHING. Which is why Rand votes NO on virtually everything.
We've become worse than that. We are now zombies that follow trump or hannity.
Most of America just doesn't care as much and will soon turn to apathy which is the last stage of a democracy. After the apathy becomes common place then bondage can take place again. Which is one of the prime reason's we should keep our elected officials in check. It is getting to be scary at the strides Presidents have made in the last 20 years at pushing the boundaries of executive privilege.
I knew what he stood for 3 years ago.
There is an old saying, "People vote for the candidate that is the closest reflection of who they aspire to be. ". Trump had the advantage of never having held political office prior to the 2016 elections, so no one really knew what he stood for. He was bombastic and he entertained, and people voted for him.
3 years in and we now know what he stands for and what he does in a crisis.
Whether you voted for him before is irrelevant. Knowing him now as you do, the question will be, "Will you still vote for him again? The GOP is now, for better or worse, the Trump Party.
People vote for the candidate that is the closest reflection of who they aspire to be.
Money. And people with money, worker bees and the environment be damned. While I knew he was a liar and a cheat I was blindsided to his ties to the religious community. That community that values freedom yet would get me fired from my job if I was caught paying for sex from a woman who was freely doing so. In an instant. I mean we all know if there is a HELL he's going straight there when he corks, no stops at purgatory. You're right D Nut, he was an experiment and many had buyers remorse early on. All I can say is I miss the old days when we had more Bengalman folks and less Wandering About's, who appears to have learned from Fox / Hannity watching MSNBC somehow rots your brain. I don't watch any of them, they're all owned and influenced by billionaires. But I certainly don't buy into any "news' station or public policy that caters to the wealthy, they do not have any of our best interests at heart. Folks. If you think what we do should be legal, as I do, the party of the hypocritical is NOT the way to roll. And Molly, great posts, keep poking the bear. I'd come see ya but I don't have references!
