Our beautiful Asian hottie has warmed up the entire climate.
I assume we need to PM to find out where you are?

Did a good amount of recon today. Even though some of these spots are known to be gone, it's good to periodically check on them now and then, as one spot had been recently reported as being closed, namingly.
M. St Third floor. Open. Hit the buzzer, was surprised they opened up. Was greeted by a woman who looked like she just woke up out of bed. Went to the room, and was told she was the only one working, and that "she would take care of me". Hhmmm let me think about that for a second. She was in her 40's. Her looks out of 10 were about a 4 at best. I'll pass! I just spent $$$ about a week earlier on another well worth, but costly GFE in VA. I wasn't willing to part with anything in my wallet unless the girl was an 8 or higher. Told her I'd be back.
Vermont Therapy- closed. Not sure if it's just closed on Sundays or if it's shut down. Front door was locked, so I couldn't even access the staircase.
1413- closed. A tattoo shop had it's sign up there, but even that said they themselves had moved. Probably been that way for a while.
I. St Bar. Closed. Whole building looks condemned.
1333/Starbucks block. Travelled up the 4 flights, hit buzzer, and was pleasantly surprised that they opened up. This spot has always been my atf. Mamasan peeked out the door and said they were closed today, but that they'd be back open tomorrow. Not sure if she was just trying to get rid of me, or if in fact they were just closed that day. The sign next to the door said 'Grand Opening'. Not sure how long that's been there. It's been a while. Can anyone confirm whether that's new or not. Maybe sunny days are on the horizon again.?
Sun. Got excited as I saw an 'open' sign outside their door. But alas upon closer inspection, it looked like it was for the restaurant beside it. Heavy police presence across the street, deterred me from even ringing the buzzer.

I walked down 10th street today, the doors to Happiness were open, and workers were inside gutting the place. Ah....if walls could talk.
Fellars, be careful if you're headed to Dopont Cir. area. The place on 1333/conn. got busted over the weekend. They don't have anyone there but mms answering the telephone. Anyone need more info. PM me.
This seems to be a fun little thing to do. I used to roll past sometimes (in particular Sky, Sun and Royal) when I was downtown. The police across from Sun was something I used to smile about. The time of night I'd visit usually there was a fight at Coyote Ugly and the cops were either occupied or distracted. Next thing. Ding ding. On up I'd go and smile. I visited the front room (real small) with a small spot of the paint missing, look down and see the cops again, checking stuff out or whatever they were doing.
I will be around tomorrow or Wednesday, might be recon time for me. I like walking around downtown. There's always something fun going on. Homeless talking to themselves or their invisible friend. Fights over girls are sometimes a hoot. Businessmen going places, joggers,. It's all fun.
Will post when I get time.
Cabbie!
Anyone know Sarang Haeyo, who used to post on here? I tried PM'ing him w/o luck. If any of you know him and can pass on an email addy, or at least let him know I'm trying to reach him, I'd appreciate it. We corresponded before.
Open sign was lit today and they were fixing the front door. Mammasan was doing QC duty over the workers. Was going with coworkers to eat at the Peruvian place next door. Obvioulsly acted oblivious to the scene.

I would be interested in the 'renoations'. Are they going to model it after the 'Virginia" AMPs or will it come back to a DC Amp proper. I didn't like the Virginia set-up, happy ending with a handshake and not so great looking girls. Only one decent girl, Katie, and that was it. They used to have some of the best looking girls there...as in Linda, my all time favorite.
I've done the check out the old places and a lot of the buildings are just plain gone. New World demolished. I wonder if all the people at Popeye's chicken knew what was going on there. 617K demolished or I think it was. I remember seeing all the mattresses thrown out the front door and sitting in a pile. 14K shut down, "Oly" shut down, Wisconsin shut down--I keep driving by there, but nothing. That was one of my favorite places, too.
Green closed, and I remember the place by Camelot used to be white chicks and mixed. That was just rub and tug.
Just think how well a "white" amp would do. Then there was the place above the 'kebab' place on on 10th and whatever by the Hostel. That didn't last too long.
This is depressing on not only how many AMPS have closed, but how much I've spent on the 'hobby' over the years, good grief.
I did the Google Maps thing myself and it helped me take a look around the neighborhood. I paid a visit last week in mid-afternoon. I took the Metro, which worked really well. It's only about a 3-4 block walk, mostly along some very busy streets. I approached from the northern end of the block. After you cross the main N-S street, you walk about 100', turn left into the alley and the back entrance is right there. I wouldn't approach from the south because you would have to walk almost a whole block in the alley. Ultimately, I don't think the neighborhood is any worse than the U Street area in which Rio/Olympic was located.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot the good part: I was greeted at the door by Paula, looking stunning in just a warm-up suit. She joined me for a few minutes in the sauna and talked about the experience at the old place and that she took the necessary time & expense to obtain a license for the new place. As a matter of fact, the licenses are prominently displayed on a beam in the main hallway. The new facility was spotless. Someone obviously put a lot of time and money into the interior.
Heidi was apparently the only technician working. Needless to say, she rocked my world and I returned the favor -- 2 or three times for her.
They pick names easy to say and for us to understand with their limited english, I for one appreciate their creativity in not choosing the same name as everyone else.
Us mongers or I should say some of you though need lessons.
Come on now, you can't all be Mike, Bob, Steve, Dan, Richard, and Fred.
