They just removed the restriction with no fuss. I recommend anyone with a spam block do direct chat. In the past I'd send a ticket, they would review the messages and ban me. Looks like they realize they're losing money and can't afford to ban everyone haha.

New feature / update is a game changer IMO. Should easily weed out fake accounts.
