The only reason that they pick on monger is just because they are easy picking and not as dangerous as a typical crime.

If every monger were carrying guns and ready to go postal I would not think that LE would not even attempt to nab a monger. Even try to put a undercover LE.

The LE are all just wussies. They should take care of the real crime.

Rolled the K 8/11 10pm-12pm LE in force, 3 black Ford SUV's with looked like Vise 4 per truck. Also the usual LE in umarked and patrols. Seemed to pull every construction van or truck with a ladder over.

Lots of action though. Several girls in the 7 range, a lot in the 3-5's.

Girls moved from 7-11 down to Front St. as the night went on. LE followed right along. Nothing moving by McD's.

No pick ups tonight just to much LE, watch yourselfs.

Of course I can't speak for all mongers but yes I'm aware that most of the girls on K are pimped out. I am surprised to hear you say that ALL of them are because some certainly insist that they're not, in fact some make a big deal about how they're different, how they refuse and hate pimps. Funny you just reviewed her as I've been trying to get ahold of her, but
the timing has just been a bit off. Yes she used to work at Tattletales South

Afex1, I revised my post to say [i]near[/i] Oregon Ave. Activity is infrequent, so it's only worth checking if you're already in the neighborhood. Try 7th Street north of Oregon and go up past Wolf Street.

Found Jamie a few days ago walking near the Tioga Street park. As she approached my car she smiled at me like she knew me. This took me a little off guard but I quickly found out this was her first time on the Avenue and not from the area. Jamie is cute with pretty eyes, about 120lbs, maybe 5'8". The only negative is her blemished face but she is definitely kissable and loves to do it. She has a nice technique and gives a very sensual bbbjtc with a swallow at the end. She was appreciative of the donation and didn't complain. She did ask for another few so that she could pay for her room. She mentioned that she usually advertises on CL and gets 2 and a half benjies but her driver couldn't make it today. She gave me her digits so yesterday I decided to do a repeat. Some guy answers the phone and tells me that Jamie had to go out of town because of a family emergency and was supposed to return the next day but she must have decided to stay longer. (Gee... how many times have we heard that one??!)

Driving home from AC I toured Broadway and K very early this morning. Pickings were slim on both strolls. I saw maybe a total of 3 SWs on Broadway. Somewhere around Line or Spruce or that general area I came across a familiar looking brunette. Familiar not because I've seen her out before but because I knew I had seen a set by CJ. I didn't remember details but I seemed to recall he gave her a good review. She gave me a smile and a nod to go around the corner. Unfortunately I saw what looked like LE w/ lights on parked about a block up so I kept on going.

Looking her up in CJ's archives - and man when you sort the Photo Gallery by CJ's name you start to realize what an incredible body of work he's given us. The photos go on for many dozens of pages. I eventually found the girl I saw today. She's Chrissie who he posted on in the Philly forum 2 years ago almost to the day, back when he was posting Camden girls on the Philly board. Reading the review, it sounded like she might have been his first Camden photo set. He gave her an excellent review, said she had 10+ attitude, and she looked exactly the same today. Crossing the bridge I drove K. Not much happening at all. At that street one block before Womrath Park (just up beyond Erie / Torresdale) I saw an interesting sight maybe somebody can explain what it was. There were 12-15 people fanning out from the street corner heading in all different directions. They were all dressed in dark clothes, black or navy blue. On the back of many of their shirts in big yellow lettering read the word "AGENT." It appeared they were walking very casually, not like they were on some active operation at that moment. There was at least one woman among them and she had dark clothing on too but it was a belly shirt, and her shirt did not have writing on it. I continued past and then drove by again a little later. I saw what I think was the same belly shirt-wearing black woman I'd just seen standing at the corner talking to a dude at least dressed as a civilian. If I hadn't seen what I'd seen minutes ago I would have guessed she was working. Anybody have an idea if this was a prostitution sting, a drug enforcement team ending their evening operation or something else? The use of the word "AGENT" instead of "POLICE" made me wonder if it was really Philly PD.

I continued on down the stroll, again seeing almost nothing out. But passing Lehigh sitting on the notorious hooker stoop across from Huntingdon Station I spotted "Pinky," one of CJ's most recent gems. Her hair was up and she looked at least as good as her pictures (see link below).

I drove a couple blocks past and came back around and in that very short amount of time she'd already disappeared. She is definitely one of the better looking girls you'll see on K and I wasn't surprised to see her snatched so quickly.

So I ended up going home empty handed. But it again made me appreciate Cooky's pics and reports which help us feel like we already know (and know whether to pick up) SWs we see live on the street for the first time.

The "AGENTS" you saw were a warrant enforcement unit which seemingly was making random stops on the Ave. Saw them around on Friday night, although they didn't put a dent in the SW action. Special unit of the Philly PD, there to scoop up the denizens of the hood who have outstanding arrest or bench warrants. On a Friday night on the K it's probably like shooting fish in a barrel.

Another interesting thing, which I didn't check out, but maybe someone did, was the pimped out SUV parked up near Womrath Park (actually outside the old porno theater) with the huge black dude and the sexy white girl in a tiny dress and fuck me pumps. She was totally sporting an over-the-top hooker look, and seemed to be handing out pamphlets or fliers, like the kind you see in Vegas. Was going to see what it was all about, but was a little too wary with the guy hanging around. What were they selling? I figured it was PR for a strip club, but if they were targeting the monger demographic, it might be of some interest.

As a follow up to the discussion of warrant units, there was a story in the print media yesterday indicating warrant units were hitting the street looking to clean up about 3800 misdemeanor warrants, and were trying to get everyone with such a warrant to come in to a church - which they felt would be less intimidating than a courtroom - to meet with judges & lawyers and get a new court date so the outstanding warrants could be resolved.

Sounds like this is what was going on out on the Ave, since the tactic of bringing girls in for the misdemeanor of "obstructing the highway" has undoubtedly resulted in any number of blown-off court appearances over the years. Only problem with this brilliant plan is the cops aren't offering amnesty, so it's questionable whether there's any appeal to going along.

Searching the Philly boards, I see reports that Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday are "vice nights." Is this still current info? Does it mean that those days to be totally avoided or is it just evening or night hours?

Based upon a non response I assume the Patio is closed for good. That being said has there been success getting the girls to go to Jersey notels or is everyone parking or using the Caryle?

I went out last night after the Phillies loss to Fla. On my first pass from Front Street all the way down to the DD I spotted 11 LE cars with 3 making busts. I still stayed out and did a few more passes. I only saw two working girls out and about but with so much heat on the street I just left the area and went home.
Time on the Ave 1.5 hours # of SW 2. Not a good night over all.
