Oh, sure, I’ll wait three minutes for someone to shove a registration card through the window, suffer the insult of $5 more for a key deposit (which he forgets to refund at the end), and wait while he counts his money instead of buzzing us past a second door. After all, once we eventually get in the room it's going to be “really good.”

But Nicole was fine. Not the blonde Nicole in Duke’s list, but the curly redhead, the one Runnow’s gonna photograph real soon, right? She’s got a killer smile and willingly follows instructions. A shot of vodka helps the later adventure on the Avenue and makes Indian-bashing more fun.

Oh, I almost forgot. I had a NON-date this week too. Blonde Rachel. Looks as good, if not better than in Duke’s list. Gotta hand it to her for keeping trim after all these years.

So we agreed on the price, and I put her through an additional wait while I went to an ATM. She asked to “make a stop” to get something, and my years of wisdom-gathering on the golden streets of Kensington triggered an automatic “no”. She gave me zero on the friendly scale, to the point where I pulled the car over and said maybe we should forget it. I didn’t want to blow $75-85 on room & fuck while putting up with bad vibes.
Oh well, at least I got one smile out of her: when she said “STOP IT [the attitude]!”, I responded “I DID stop it [the car]!”. SNL here I come. I held firm and she exited the car, leaving the door wide open.
I’m not blaming her. As I say, I’ve probably rarely felt as bad physically as she did. In fact I feel a little guilty. I was in a rotten mood myself. (I hadn’t bashed an Indian in days.) So, Rachel, I admire you for your long (longest?) service to us selfish guys on the K, and I apologize, and I have a $10 bill with your name on it for wasting your time. Smart move...Glad to hear guys thinking with there big head. If you ever want to increase your risks of getting in trouble on the ave just go cruising with a girl to get drugs.
