Went to the Swansea Mall the past week and discovered that the asians have opened a massage place next to their nail salon, towards the Sears end.

Not sure what they are trying to do, b/c they have a unique price list, 10 min increments, foot massage, bunch of other quick massages. but I am not sure if they have the ts, sauna etc... b/c I didn't go in or private rooms.

It looks like they are trying to get the mall shopper that only has a limited time, but I saw some pretty Asian girls talking on their cell phones when I passed by. They looked lonely.

They had MASSAGE MASSAGE MASSAGE plastered all over the windows. lol.

Police and city officials have pushed for legislation to toughen anti-prostitution laws, although some say adding more laws to punish prostitutes is unnecessary.

State law prohibits loitering for the purpose of prostitution, as well as harboring or transporting prostitutes. But the sale of sex indoors is not specifically banned.

Verdi said police have raided nearly every suspect spa and massage parlor in Providence and charged women there with prostitution, but the charges were thrown out because they are not doing anything illegal.

is another Journal article PZ posted where, amongst other things, the cops tried to bust an AMP through an undercover investigation, but the woman only offered him sex, no massage, so they couldn't pursue it. The courts have ruled repeatedly that the law is as the articles state, which is why the assholes at Providence City Hall and HQ switched to harassing the MPs with unlicensed massage and other bullshit charges, despite the courts ruling that those charges were also false. This is also why you can freely discuss what you want to do, with whom, for how much at the PP. I think the reason that it is not a sex-tourism capital is because people outside the area don't know about it, and those who know are hesitant to shout it to the world. It is as it is due to the continued enlightenment of some legislators and judges.

On the other subject, good, reputable AMPs are far cleaner than the alternatives, and many of us who go to an RNT AMP go to enjoy all of the services - shower (preferably TS), sauna, massage, HR - not just the last.

It it really is amazing what RI AMPs offer in terms of quality and cleanliness. First AMP I went to was in PVD. Since then I have been to them in probably a dozen states and a couple of different countries. Best by far remains PVD.

I wasn't suggesting we petition the RI Tourism Board to promote PVD AMPs worldwide, but I am surprised this fact has remain such a well-kept secret.

It is pretty wild as I think about it. I'm sure some of them lead better lives than some of us board members.

My understanding of Legal RI Indoor Prostitution is that it is the result of a defense attorney's argument and interpretation of the exisiting solicitation law in an AMP case 3 or 4 years ago. It led to the judge dismissing the prostitution charges against the girls. Since then simple sex-for-money is considered legal by the courts as long as it occurs indoors. It is debatable, however, if operating a brothel or transporting prostitutes is legal and thus AMP harassment is likely to continue in the hopes that one of these charges, or "creating a public nuisance", will stick. It's probably because of this that we don't see AMPs and brothels popping up like MacDonalds. I'm not sure when the RI Assembly will vote on changing the legislation to make indoor prostitution a misdemeanor but there is unfortunately a lot of support for it.

Even though many of us love the hunt for street action, you have to admit that public interest in keeping street action out of the neighborhoods is understandable. However, allowing prostitution in venues where it's out of sight, harming no one, isn't a bad idea - look how much trouble prohibition in the '20's caused.

Met 'Chanel' today....another quality spinner, attractive, 27 yo, maybe considered to have extreme asain features by some...the more I looked at her the prettier she got! Here are the relevant stautes from the [b]Rhode Island General Laws[/b] :


[b]§ 11-34-4 Search for and delivery of inmate of house of ill fame.[/b] – Whenever there is reason to believe that any person has been inveigled, enticed, induced, persuaded, or encouraged to enter a house of ill fame or other place where prostitution is allowed or practiced, or is being kept, held, detained, or restrained in any house of ill fame or other place where prostitution is allowed or practiced, upon complaint being made under oath by any director of human services, member of the division of state police, sheriff, deputy sheriff, chief of police, town sergeant, or constable, or by the parent, master, or guardian of the person, to any justice or clerk of a district court authorized to issue warrants, the justice or clerk may issue a warrant to enter by day or night the house of ill fame or other place, to search for the person, and to bring that person and the person in whose possession or keeping he or she may be found before the district court. The court may, on examination, order that person to be delivered to the director of human services, parent, master, or guardian, or to be placed in the charge of a probation officer, or to be discharged in accordance with law.

[b]§ 11-34-5 Transportation for indecent purposes – Harboring prostitution.[/b] – (a) It shall be unlawful for any person, for pecuniary gain, to secure, direct, or transport, or offer to secure, direct, or transport another for the purpose of prostitution, or for any other lewd or indecent act; or to receive or offer or agree to receive any person into any place, structure, house, building, room, or conveyance for the purpose of committing any such acts, or knowingly permit any person to remain in the premises for those purposes, or to, in any way, aid or abet or participate in any of the acts or things enumerated in this chapter.

(b) Any person found guilty under this section shall be subject to imprisonment in the adult correctional institutions for not less than one year and not more than five (5) years, and a fine of not less than two thousand dollars ($2,000) nor more than five thousand dollars ($5,000). For every subsequent offense that person shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than three (3) years and for not more than ten (10) years and a fine of not less than five thousand dollars ($5,000) nor more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000).

[b]§ 11-34-5.1 Deriving support or maintenance from prostitution.[/b] – Any person, knowing a person to be a prostitute, who shall live or derive support or maintenance, in whole or in part, from the earnings or proceeds of prostitution, from moneys loaned, advanced to, or charged against the prostitute by any keeper, manager, or inmate of a house of ill fame or other place where prostitution is practiced or allowed, or who shall share in the earnings, proceeds or moneys, shall be punished by imprisonment in the adult correctional institutions for not less than one year nor more than five (5) years, or by a fine of not less than two thousand dollars ($2,000) and not more than five thousand dollars ($5,000), or both, and for every subsequent offense shall be punished by imprisonment for not less three (3) years and not more than ten (10) years, and by a fine of not less than five thousand dollars ($5,000) and not more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000), or both. These are Laws could be used to shut down AMPs or places like the Pink Palace
or even go after the guy my ATF girl [b]Jo·Elle[/b] lives with and who lets her use his
place to operate her 'escort' business
