Maybe a stupid question, but for all intents and purposes, how late does PP run, on say a Thursday night. I'll be traveling next week, but I have a lot of other commitments, so it'll be late before I can get to La Prov. I haven't been down in several months, so I really want to get my fix. Also, I've RTFF, but reports on the Sportsman have been few and far between, but lately they've been pretty good. If anyone would like to chime in and recommend it, or not, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks,
Jake
The times I've been to Cheaters they've stayed open and busy right up until closing time. 1 AM most days, 2 AM Friday and Saturday. In contrast, I went to CF for the first time Wed. , got there late and asked before paying the $10 cover how late they were open. The doorman said "one o'clock", but they closed at 12:30.
Speaking of CF, the girl I was getting a lap dance with said that there were cameras looking down in each booth. Any truth to that? She said it was her first night there, and did seem confused about things. Example. She tried to give the DJ his $5/song beforehand, but was told to wait until done, for the obvious reason that you don't know how many songs the customer will want.

Cameras....

There are cameras all over the club but the only ones that management cares about are the ones pointing at the cash registers. If they were watching, more accurately, if they cared, my favs would have been fired years ago. In any club the dancers who tell you about the cameras are basically the ones who don't offer anything beyond a mild LD. I was in there last night and I got a HJ and more in one of the side booths while a bouncer was in the vicinity. Smart girls know what to do, who to tip and how to be discreet. Dumb ones tell you about the cameras.
FYI, CF's clocks are ten or fifteen minutes fast. This is also how they beat clock-watchers out of the cover charge when they show up at 5:50.

SI = PP but cheaper
Service options at the Sportsman Inn are pretty much the same as Cheaters, YMMV with specific girls. You pay $5 dance tickets instead of the $45 Godiva/booth fees. Seems $20 for four dances is all it takes to get the job done, buy two and they just add more as time is needed. $80 and $140 seem to be common tips
The downside at SI is there may only be 4-8 girls working, but it only takes one, and usually they don't have a lot of business so the girls are veerrrry friendly. Take a couple of dollar dances and you can get a good idea of what you are in for.
I'd say five of my last six trips to Providence have been consumated at the SI after passing thru Cheaters. Cheaters is just so full of scary dogs, the few cute ones want more $$ now.
Bella, Gwen, Mandy are pretty and a pleasure, I personally think Acelin nicely naughty, avoid the blonde Tanya. Dakota is hot and has returned until the 28.

Thanks a lot Hot Cat, I really appreciate the timely info and the girls to look out for. I'll definitely give the Sportsman a go round.

Wow! Really???? Gosh, I'd have thought they'd close an hour before closing time!
Couldn't resist.

As for the time, I think they know the real time. The girl I was getting a lapdance from said 'They told me I had to stop at 12:30 and leave'. And that was 12:30 real time - if the clocks were just fast 12:30 to them would have occurred at 12:15 real time. I thought that was just for this one girl who said it was her first time, but the whole club was closing at 12:30.

Actually, both. Kinda like the guy who sells paper towels and condoms in a mens' room - I've got 'em coming and going.

No actually I don't think there is a camera in each booth. I doubt there are cameras in any of the booths at all. There are cameras pointed at the stages but these are mainly just to make sure the girls keep dancing and that there is always someone on stage.
I don't know why any dancer would make you stop spending money on her at 12:30. I've been in the club many times in the past at closing and they don't stop dances until 1pm (bar time) or 2pm on weekends. It's entirely possible that things have changed since I used to close this club down two or three years ago....who knows!

You're correct - there are no cameras that point into booths. There are cameras covering the bars, stages and any other place where money changes hands. The most intense coverage is in the dressing room downstairs. One thing that you should be aware of is that many, if not all, of the cameras have audio pickup capability - at least that's what I've been told by management. Of course, we must acknowledge that the information could be bullshit.

I don't know what RI's law is. Any lawyer looking for a class-action lawsuit and some publicity?

Ambient mics would pick up too much extraneous noise to deliver any useful audio.
As far as why there are cameras in the dressing room your kidding right? They are there to curtail theft and drug use. They also give the DJ or housemother the opportunity to see who is hanging out down there when they are supposed to be on stage.

You are wrong for sure

You would be surprised at the amount of audio it picks up. More closer to where the camera is mounted to rather than all the background noise, which is what I wanted for obvious reasons, just my two cents worth.

Maybe they're voyeurs or perverts? After all they're running a strip club.

I wouldn't have expected cameras to be in the dressing room. What would they steal in the dressing room? You mean girls stealing from each other? As for drugs, I didn't think they cared that much. If they did, they should do regular drug testing. I worked for a company that did drug testing, and it was quite effective. Since the girls are there to make money, I would have thought they would want to be on stage when they're supposed to be. They aren't going to make money hanging out in the dressing room.
