The Raleigh area "Sugar Bowl" (SA, WYP, SD4 ME)

I have seen it both ways with arrangements concerning up front disclosure of amount and 'do you low ball or go ahead and pay up'. I struggle with both. I feel I scare some girls off talking amounts and I do not want to pay too much but I also realize what these girls are doing and what I would have to pay up going any other route be it BP or civie.

What I really wanted to comment on was the statement that you could always reduce the amount. I have been doing this for a long time. I don't invest the time or brain power that most guys commenting on here do but I have been around. And I have read the Richmond forum for years before everyone knew about it. In the words of Hollywood 'you can never go back'. Even my long long term sb (we were basically dating in some aspects) that I had a one year pause in hookups wouldn't let it go without comment and bad attitude that I slightly cut the amount.

So if that works then decreasing an arrangement after time can be done, depending on the girl and the relationship. I've done it a couple of times onlong term sb's. Again it depends on the relationship you have. I also depending on the girl pay a higher arrangement for the first meeting (fc) and advise them its a one time deal and if they want to continue then its at a lesser amount. I usually drop it by $ and have around a 75% return rate on that. There are varying strategies, game plans, to this sd / sb game that myself have a hard time believing actually works but there is always exceptions to the rules. I have also used the rule anytime I think this is more than a transaction cut the $$ completely and see if they still stick around.

I have dabbled in the SD world with both good and bad experiences, but I've been out of it for about a year and thinking of jumping back in.

As I do that, I am also perusing Secret Benefits in addition to SA. Here's the thing, my SB profile is literally empty. There's no pic, no blurb, nothing. And yet, I get a bunch of messages from various young women initiating contact. Can I surmise that if the SB women are initiating things with nothing to go on, they're a little more experienced in the game, perhaps even semi-pro? When my SA profile was empty at first, this never happened over there. I was curious if there were any general differences between the women on the two sites.

Also, since I last dabbled in the arrangement world, I got married. It's great, but I just can't stop that young pussy. Do any other of you married guys find that listing your marital status hurts your chances or decreases the opportunities? If I do proceed with another arrangement, I am going to pursue it in another town, as I firmly believe you don't shit where you eat.

I have no experience with Secret Benefits so I can't speak for that. In general though I would just remind you that there are all types on these sites. You'll figure out who is who after a few convos with those that interest you. On SA though there are a lot of legit girls. Because of that some will state in their profiles 'No Married Men' while most others don't care. IMO the selection is so great that you can put it in your profile and just move on if it matters to the girl. Beware though that if you find the wrong type of girl she MAY use that info against you for $. Just use your common sense and you should be fine. Good luck!

By the second or third 'message', I always point out the fact that my profile indicates that I'm married. One cared, a couple went silent, the rest indicated that they were good with that, and some also promised discretion. I was pleased to see that several of the girls also indicated they were married (and one was involved with a 'girlfriend') - situations that made me a little more comfortable that they wouldn't turn around and try to blackmail me.

But that last item kept me from going forward with any of the new talent on SA, despite the wonderful pictures. I ended up back at AM, where the women are often less nubile (though often more interesting) - and are just as concerned with keeping everything on the QT as I am. That I don't have to 'buy' them, makes the relationship just that more comfortable for me; not to mention economical.

I am going to be very upfront about my marital status. But I am going to play MUCH tighter with my identity. If I practice in totally different city, use Google voice, no last names, etc, I should be able to have some more fun.

Here's a tip on protecting your identity. A couple of years ago, I met a gal on Craigslist. I forgot that the pic I sent her was also on my LinkedIn, so she was able to do an image search and scope me out before I divulged anything. It was fine, she wasn't trying to scam me and was just being curious. But definitely don't ever send anything that stands even a remote chance of pinging back in a web search.

By the same token, I've found that most girls on SA will not want to give any information for the first couple of rounds. But 9 times out of 10, once you get the digits, it's to their real phone tied to their social media. I also think those options only work while your a paid member. If membership lapses then the ones you favored will see you have favored them. If your not a paid member the site is pretty useless.

I only use it for lurking and taking paper notes on pots that I may contact later if and when I pull the trigger on getting a paid membership on my real profile. Also I did try to favorite a pot from my lurking profile and got an error message stating others can't "discover" me, until I complete the basic information on it.
