It may rock in some ways but in terms of street action, not really, or at least not often anymore. Meatjovial does mention that this was on a weekday however and we recently had discussion on this board that weekdays tend to get better action these days than weekends. I don't visit often on weekdays anymore.

The night before New Years Eve
So my buddy calls and he says its $79 for the Marriott Courtyard so I ask what time he plans on picking me up.

Meanwhile, at Harrahs there are about 6 as well. I am looking for a certain type and so far, only the one.
We then head back to Cesars and walk over to Trump.
We find one that my newbi monger buddy wants and the girl won't give us a straight answer so we head back to our room where she wants $100 for a BJ. We say no way and she says we wasted her time. I tell her that she wasted her time by not telling us staight out the prices. My buddy gives her $5 and she leaves.

Flashback from December 2008
So I was sitting around and decided to see what the rates were and they had dropped to the $50 a night range. In addition, it was not too cold out so I took off to Atlantic City. I decided I was going to make a short Hizark / Hargow-type post (for longtime readers of this site) to summarize a few trips down Pacific over the weekend, something like: "AC streetmongering is dead. As for where to look, it's anywhere along Pacific from the motels just past the Hilton all the way down to the Showboat at the other end of the casino row. If your looking for lower cost, easier, and safe SW pickups, I'd say your best option is usually from ML King Street (former site of the Sands) down to about the Taj. I never pick up a SW on the stroll itself, that's just asking for trouble. In these blocks pickups shouldn't be a real problem if you're smart about it. Just catch your intended target's attention. There's more traffic (pedestrian and car) in the section between ML King and Trump Plaza, and the presence of the casinos and less sidestreet parking can make that stretch harder to do pickups. SW asking prices also tend to run higher in that stretch.
Things not to say to your customer
The other day I spotted a small petite little thing in the Tennessee Ave area during the afternoon. She was in shorts and looked barely 5 feet and less than 100lbs. Be careful if parking in casino lots
Just a heads-up that following the recent fatal carjacking that began in the Taj lot (2nd such murder in the past year and a half) , LE is now for the first time patrolling casino parking lots, making that option more risky than before.
With Spring out come the SWs
Don't get excited. There is still not that much action happening on AC streets, and hardly any influx of hot young new talent like the kind last seen 6 or 7 years ago. But I am seeing a few more out on the street and over the last weeks have spotted a few longtime AC regulars who've been MIA for quite awhile. One is Katie who is probably the most regular of all AC SWs over the past few years. She is a good provider. Another is Star, a tall slender, older SW who was headed to jail for an extended term many months ago when I last saw her. She is sporting more weight and a new hairstyle and color (brunette rather than blond) when I saw her. Both of these woman hang out up near Resorts and the Taj. Finally there is Yolanda a BSW who was pregnant a year ago and is finally back again, probably not a good sign for the state of her personal life. She hangs out around the 7-11 in mid-stroll, also with a new long, kind of wavy hairstyle. She can be unpredictable so I suggest avoiding her if you can.
