Report: Henderson officer paid prostitute on several occasions

Details emerged Friday in the arrest of a Henderson Police officer accused of soliciting a prostitute.
In an arrest report released this morning, Metro Police say Michael Stevens, 34, was arrested about 3 a.m. Sunday after he offered money to a prostitute and an undercover police officer so the two women would have sex with him. Stevens had paid the prostitute for sex on several occasions, she told police.
According to the report, Metro Police arrested the woman that night while conducting an undercover vice investigation at the Aria resort on the Las Vegas Strip.
After police arrested several women on the Strip in connection with soliciting prostitution, the women began talking with each other about how they had had sex with police officers for money, the arrest report said.
One prostitute, who led police to Stevens, spoke about one of her frequent clients – a Henderson police officer named Mike, the report said.
Police said the prostitute told them "she had had sex with a Henderson police officer at his house several times and she could text message him right now, and he would agree to meet up with her and pay her to have sex with him."
After sending the text message, Stevens agreed to meet the woman for sex, the report said.
The report said Stevens agreed to meet the woman and her "friend" – a female, undercover Metro Police officer – at a PT’s Pub on East Tropicana. When the two women drove up to Stevens’ white Escalade, police said he was sitting in the driver’s seat with the window down.
At that time, Stevens allegedly had already agreed to sex for $100 with the two women, who he believed to be prostitutes, police said.
After a conversation about the services the two women would provide to Stevens, the report said the undercover police officer told Stevens she knew of a place up the road where they could go. A police car was waiting for Stevens and he was arrested.
After his arrest, police said Stevens admitted that what he had done was wrong. He told police he initially met the prostitute on Criagslist.com, the report said.
Stevens was booked into the Clark County Detention Center, Metro Police said.
Henderson Police spokesman Keith Paul said Stevens had been with the department for five years.
Stevens was placed on administrative leave earlier this week pending an internal investigation.[/quote]

About 13 years ago a Massage place in my area was ripping off clients so several disgrutled customers tried to get $ back for service not rendered, poor service etc and the manager said to take a hike or she will call the cops. the joke was on her as they wrote detailed info on complaints to the State Police and Local Police and the place was shut down and the owner ended up with over $10,000 in legal fees plus arrested, convicted etc. I found this out from a friend of mine on the police force. If you think you are not treated right by a person or organization you can bet you are not alone and the bad guy will pay at some point. You may not be around to enjoy the satisfaction of seeing the punishment. I try to follow the policy of forgiveness.
