Frankly Frank, I think you answered your own question. Most regular escorts do keep information. I have been out of the using escorts for a few years but had a real tough time giving out to much when I did. What I used in a pinch when I had to come up with a reference, especially when travelling, I would use preselected escort name or names that was somewhat known but said that it had been 6 months or a year previously since I had seen them hoping that either no one checked or the reference(s) didn't remember.

With a little B.S. and acting like you know your way around I don't think you will have too much of a problem.

Can't say if this approach is bullet proof but I never had a problem doing that.

I usually tell them, hey bottom line here is you are offering a service and I want to be a customer. Then I ask them this, Ok you want a reference right, let's assume I see you, and a month from now I go to see someone else, how are you gonna feel when she calls you? What are you going to tell the judge if it comes to that -- "Your Honor, I thought she just wanted me to come over and screw her; I didn't know there was any money involved, and I never even read that 'erotic services' heading thing on Craigslist"? The judge will look at you like you've got two heads, say something like, "Do you think I'm a moron, boy?", and then find your ass guilty-as-charged. Don't expect to be able to plead your way out of a maximum sentence, either -- usually, the judge has some discretion about whether to just fine you or include some jail time, but if you feed him some bullshit, you may find yourself in the lockup for a while.

Your best bet is to not see anyone who doesn't have some established reputation. If she's been reviewed here, or some reputable escort-review sites, you're almost certainly OK; I've never heard of guys getting stung by providers mentioned at those sites. Girls getting busted by cops pretending to be clients, yes, but not the other way around. It's a safety thing -- a busted "client" might freak out and hurt the undercover officer if she's not got backup close at hand, and it's more work than a cheapo solicitation bust is worth to set up a sting like that.

Whatever you do, if any mention of drugs is made, end things right then and there. If she asks you to score some coke and bring it with you, and you don't know this chick, you're just begging to get busted. Honestly, your most likely problem is some kind of ripoff. CL girls are very much hit-and-miss about actually providing any services. I've had good luck before, and some awful luck, too.
