One last tip is if you are worried about a big gap between the actual girl versus her ad photo (or that she is old rather than young), some people communicate first with their booker. They ask if they can walk / cancel if "the girl is old" or "the girl doesn't look good like her ad" - since that is their make or break criteria. I wouldn't do this often, but it is one way. It is certainly a better alternative than a guy getting burned once too often and quitting. Your main chance is at the door - if you strongly feel it's not going to work out, let the girl know you're leaving and then text the booker. Some friends do this once or twice a year, I wouldn't rely on it often.
These rules are about ensuring some level of fairness while making sure a guy isn't forced to see a girl he clearly is not going to like.
