I read these threads periodically, it's pretty tempting what you guys are getting, but just way beyond my risk tolerance to get there. While rare, there are too many examples of guys real identities getting exposed, through LE, hacks, etc. This would literally destroy my life.

For a few bookers that take it, HX is a way to not send pay stubs. And with independents you can check their network. You do not use your name for anything. You need HX points to communicate, and you pay for HX points using a gift card. Some people will pay cash and use that.
This info is just so people can weigh their options, everyone's situation is different.
Yes the initial work is a barrier to entry. But once you are set up, you can cut down your exposure by just going to one or two agencies for 10 years, for example. I'm on my 10th year. I think it's better than seeing multiple independents or shops one after the other, but everyone's goal is different. The agencies are there to make money so you can count on them to act accordingly. I stay out of trouble so have never had trouble with them.

You probably asked them which city they liked. Of course they like OC more. You should ask which city is more money. LA is more.
I try not to ask much about business, you are there to have a good time. I hope you find your next girl.
The trick with SD is if the girl is HYA and priced cheap, then she'll be rich. SD likes young girls and skinny girls (just one or the other is enough). There are a ton of guys who usually go AMPs, other agencies, HX, or independents. But when the right girl shows up, all those people gather and show up for her. When that girl leaves, it goes back to normal.
