Anyone know anything about Club 57 in Elyria by the Midway Mall?
I posted this here because I wanted everyone in the state forum to see it. It was easier than posting city by city.
Craigslist to Require Phone Number, Credit Card for 'Erotic Services' Ads
Friday , November 07, 2008
AP
HARTFORD, Conn. —
Under the watchful eye of law enforcement in 40 states, Craigslist pledged Thursday to crack down on ads for prostitution on its Web sites.
As part of Craigslist's agreement with attorneys general around the country, anyone who posts an "erotic services" ad will be required to provide a working phone number and pay a fee with a valid credit card. The Web site will provide that information to law enforcement if subpoenaed.
Jim Buckmaster, Craigslist's president, said the deal with 43 attorneys general will allow legitimate escort and other services to continue advertising, while providing a strong disincentive to companies who are conducting illegal business.
"We don't view it as a penalty, we view it as raising the accountability," he said. "A legitimate business should have no problem with that. They should have no problem providing a phone number or credit card credentials."
Craigslist filed lawsuits this week against 14 software and Internet companies that help people who post erotic service ads to circumvent the Web site's defenses against inappropriate content and illegal activity.
Craigslist, which posts ads for everything from apartment rentals to jobs in dozens of cities, will also begin using new search technology in an effort to help authorities find missing children and victims of human trafficking.
Police across the country have been arresting people for using Web sites like Craigslist to advertise the sexual services of women and children.
"The dark side of the Internet must be stopped from eclipsing its immense potential for good," said Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal, who brokered the agreement.
Buckmaster said the agreement does not cover Craigslist's personal ads, where prostitutes have been found advertising for "dates." But he said the company has been working with authorities on that issue and on cutting down on the sale of stolen merchandise on its sites.
"We are experimenting with telephone verification in those sections," he said. "We don't have any plans to use credit card verification in that section currently. But this partnership is going to be active in that area as well, anywhere where crime does or could occur."
Craigslist has about 30 million ads posted on its sites every month, Buckmaster said.
The agreement was joined by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
"The criminals engaged in the sexual trafficking of children no longer parade them on the streets of America's cities," said NCMEC President and Chief Executive Ernie Allen. "Today, they market them via the Internet."
States that signed the agreement include Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, OHIO, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, `The dark side of the Internet must be stopped from eclipsing its immense potential for good," said Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal, who brokered the agreement.

Anyone know of any SW's in Lorain, Ohio?
I saw a few ads for these and they sound pretty fun.
The one was 760 usd for 2 night 3 days all inclusive at Dominion Republic.
I figured youd probably spend that much on a normal vacation and this includes 4 women a day.
I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with these?

Hi Jeffasauras,
If you want to talk about sex vacation in the Dominion Rebublic, then why don't you visit my international forum where there's a big section on exactly this subject?

Everything that's legal begins somewhere. It comes from the efforts and support of many people. Let's start a discussion to achieve this. The more thoughts and viewpoints the better. We live in a democracy, and this is a possibility.
Thanks to Gabrielfa for following rules:
Rule #1 When I am done, GET OUT OF MY CAR!
Rule #2 See rule #1, just needs to be said twice.
Rule #3 If you think you are going to light the pipe in my ride, think again.
Rule #4 If You need a ride at the end and I am feeling gracious enough to bend rule #1, it better be close, and you better know where the hell you are going.
Rule #5 I am not as comfortable as you with my status as a 'john', this means yelling to your your cracker-jack friends out my window will get you no where fast.
Rule #6 I am paying you, at the very least act interested.
Rule #7 Acting like a Jerry Springer guest on crank is not cool, stop freaking out.
Rule #8 I have good eyesight, I don't need you to jump up and down, wave, send up flares, etc. Before I pick you up. If I drive by you and pass you up, its becuase A) Not interested B) I'm busy C) You have a face/body that could stop a clock D) You look like Steve Buscemi on glue-bender. Make eye contact. Thats all I need and thats all I prefer. I may well drive by a few times, it's all about my comfort level.
Rule #9 If you give me lack luster service, you will compensated accordingly. I mean really, is this why you are doing what your doing, did the formula for success as a waitress truly baffle you?
Rule #10 Act polite, small talk relaxes everyone involved. Small talk about your court date for felony assault doesn't.
Rule #11 Asking me if I am the police is about the stupidest thing I have ever heard of. Reach over and give me a gentle squeeze, thats the proof (or hey, atleast it works for me.)
Rule #12 You need to supply the condoms, not me. I can't have that shit hanging around my car. I don't bring my own sugar for my coffee at Denny's.
Rule #13 State the way you want me to 'release' before hand.
Rule #14 Wash that funky ass (thanks net pro. Good call)
Rule #15 Its my car, don't change the radio stations, adjust the seats or anything that I will have to reset later (or alternately forget to reset and have to answer the questions like 'Who adjusted this seat? ')
Rule #16 I'm not sure about anyone else, but I will NEVER pick up a girl whos' pimp / boyfriend / WTF ever is following, lose the dude and we can do business. (If Cameron Diaz was turning tricks in Gastonia and her pimp was with her, I swear I would drive on by.)
Rule #17 Put out the cigarette. Unless you're like me and smoke in which case feel free (to smoke your own)
Rule #18 If you rip me off, I will make it my lifes work to find you and run you over. Lest you forget, you are a street WALKER, I am a street DRIVER, you must see the advantages of my situation.
Rule #19 GET OUT OF MY CAR WHEN I AM DONE!
This is scary.
If you are a member of the other site vacate fast.
Just an FYI. Found this here in a florida topic.

The best time for this to happen is now, because of what is going on at this moment in the state of Rhode Island. Rhode Island is currently the only state other than Nevada where prostitution is not completely illegal. Street walkers are illegal, but prostitution indoors currently is not illegal in RI, but that is shortly going to change. The RI house voted yesterday 62-8 to make prostitution illegal. Now it is going to their senate for vote, where it will most likely pass. Odds are a law suit will temporarily halt this.
People who want to legalize or decriminalize prostitution should all be jumping to the aid of Rhode Island. If we can draw national attention to Rhode Island, we possibly can keep that state legal. Which would be a good starting point for legalization to spread. If it can be saved there, then San Francisco will most likely legalize it by next year. Once that is done legalization should start slowly spreading to other more liberal states.
Due to the the massive power the religious fanatics and their cronies the conservative family values politicians currently wield, I am very much considering donating a some money to the ACLU, since they are most likely candidate to help. I can not begin to tell you how much it irks me to give any support to the ACLU, since I personally don't like the ACLU, due to all the stupid ass law suits they are involved in. If anyone knows of another effective group to donate to let me know
The right wing has lost a bit of power during to the last few elections, but they are still able to bully politicians to vote their way. The other way to stop them is through a so called 'grass roots' effort to gain strong effective third, fourth and fifth parties, and leave the republicans with the nutcases. If Abraham Lincoln was alive now I believe he would be appalled at the party he helped raise to national power.
