Here is my take. You might think your favorite Uncle works for a guberment but old LEO works for Po Po, Inc. Now, Po Po, Inc is like any other company, it needs to maximize it's revenue. So they do that by busts and [B]convictions[/B]. Generally, it seems you meet different quotas of convictions in different [B]drug related crimes[/B] and your local Po Po franchise is eligible for different levels of [B]guberment funding[/B]. So meeting your quotas of drug convictions is very important. That's why a lot of times, you'll see a sweep of our favorites because they love their demons and they are the easiest targets -- picture, location, etc. Our hobby doesn't directly generate revenue for Po Po, Inc so it cannot be the focus. But like any public company, Po Po Inc has to have a good public image. So ever so often, they will go after hobbyists and their friends to show that they are fighting what may be trafficking.

Just my take. I am no expert but I am highly doubtful that Uncle LEO is generally going to all that effort to capture an established hobbyist's account and post as him to entrap others. There is no money in it for old Uncle LEO in that. I've seen something like this on TV like COPS and documentaries where Uncle LEO has to act like he cares and states "it's not a victim-less crime" but generally I would believe if there is no money in it for our favorite Uncle, he doesn't give a damn. I don't believe he even gives a damn about the drug arrests. It's a revolving door and it helps that it stays revolving because it helps them meet quotas so they can continue to get federal funding for drug related arrests.
