I saw there was a forum on sex toys, so I'm sharing some perspective / experience to save you guys some time and money. I'll make my blanket statement, then go into some details: ALL SEX TOYS SUCK. And by sex toy, I'm talking strictly the "put your d!ck in this" type, ala Fleshlight, Tenga Flip, etc.

My short foray into PYDIT toys came from when my girl went out of town. I like to keep things operating at peak efficiency down there, so I decided tried a few. Having had many years of BB, PIV experience, my priority was going for something that approximates the real thing as closely as possible, so if your needs are to just stick it in SOMETHING, hey whatever trips your trigger. In my mind, a good PYDIT toy has: warmth, wetness (or wet slippery-ness), some tightness and as a bonus some kind of suction. In my personal situation, it also needs to be discreet, as in non-existent discreet. I'll detail some specific examples in another post if anyone wants to hear it, but my frustrations with the 4 or 5 I tried were thus:

1. They don't feel anything like the real thing. They just don't. Anyone who says otherwise just hasn't had the real thing, IMHO.

2. Nothing holds warmth.

3. You HAVE to use a water-based lube, which in addition to being unhealthy, feels awful.

4. Sometimes they smell (some more than others) which also means.

5. None are really very discreet (at least not enough for my needs).

I feel that 2 infinitely better options are your hand + oil (I go between olive oil and coconut) and a DIY I came up with that's cheap, easy and discreet:

*HOT BOTTLE "VAG" *.

Therapeutic Rubber Hot Water Bottle (eg. Carex or MABIS Hot Water Bottle - $10 at *some pharmacy*.

Belt or bungies (maybe 2) - your closet.

Lotion like Jergens, something greasy. Experiment (haven't tried oil, but I'm sure that would work fine as well).

Some. Um, tissue.

Here's what you do. Fill the bottle all the way up with uncomfortably warm water, also immerse it in the water. Not too hot, because these bottles hold heat pretty well, but your sensitivity may vary, so experiment and find a good temp. After about 5 min, dump out all but maybe 20-30% of the water, enough to fold it in half width-wise, but have some bulge to it. Pick an end for an "opening", put down some lotion in the middle and at the point of entry, use a belt or 2 to keep it together (if you need), stuff the other with a little tissue, and go to town.

Great things about this: feels great, discreet, cheap, easy to make / use, cleanup is also a breeze.

Thanks for a real tip (and not a sales presentation), I may just try it one day.

I spent more than that trying toys over the years, and I didn't like any of them, including the head honcho. And if you have sensitive skin issues, whatever junk they put in these toy-safe lubes irritates the skin, and that's a huge mood-killer for me.

I think before you get one, think about what gets you off, how sensitive things are down there, and how much the product is hyped. A jar of coconut oil is pretty cheap, and you can cook with it too.
