In my post, I just meant the other person is comparing orlando when honestly, it's a totally different climate and style. I love Thailand and vietnam, I had fun in Malaysia but I wouldn't return just for the mongering. Bogota and medelin were both nice experiences but instead of watching for ladyboys, we had to make sure that we I. D'd ladies since minors seem to slip in. And that was especially true with the little brothel that we went to in Bogota. Japan was a cool experience although. I don't have inside information, but I'm not convinced that this is a crackdown.

At MM, only one woman (who's face was not familiar to me) was arrested for what appears to be a license issue. A "raid" would have easily resulted in more arrests and more serious charges. It appears that the fear of enforcement spreads quickly and sends both employees and customers running. At a place like Milk, an employee license issue would likely lead to more investigations. It's smart for them to close for a while so they can possibly open something later with new names at a different location.

A regular customer of King and NDS reported that they were voluntarily closing for about a month or so. That suggests a change of ownership which requires a new or modified Massage Establishment License and a State inspection prior to opening for business. Again, I have no inside information regarding King or NDS but I'm familiar with Licensing requirements.

I've seen reports of arrests in southern Florida but nothing out of the ordinary. Again, there's a shock wave of caution and fear. Tampa was shook up last year but LE seemed focused on successful RICO charges on the owners.

Election years are always a concern for me because busting massage parlors is easy. Local politicians like to stage events for the media.
