Per Crestwood87's post, I can't see what a hate crime addition would do any good at this point unless it'll accelerate his death and save taxpayer money. Also can't understand why the dufus would plead guilty to the charges unless he's trying to fuck with the system somehow.

Cherokee was seeking the death penalty had the plea not been reached or had the judge not accepted the plea.
