Just to follow up on the 'sketchy' vibes. Everything through text / call was pretty standard, little awkward but nothing noteworthy. When I got to the old run down motel, parking lot is pretty much empty. After I came up to the room, she picked up the hotel phone "to tell her friend she doesn't need to come in". Then she asked if I had a gun. I said "No. Why?" and she said "Oh because I'm a felon, and can't be around them". I was sort of sketched out, and then I seen some people right outside the window, so I got up and left. The guy outside, who I presumed she knew, asked the girl "What's going on?" as I was walking away, and she responded "I don't know". I left, told I had to go, and she claims nothing was aloof, and that she did not know the guy who was outside the room. Who knows, it could all be nothing, but was too many Red flags for me to proceed. Anyone ever have any similar experiences in general? Or any of these 'Red Flags' that would be valid reason to get out of there. Either way, could've gone a lot better, or worse for that matter.

But I think you did the right thing. There were way too many red flags to ignore. Asking if you have a gun because she's a "felon"? That question alone would have made me leave. They were definitely setting you up and thank God you you were thinking with the big head instead of the little one and got out of there.
