LinkedIn? You give her your real name?
Nope. I don't give them my real name until we meet for the first time. They're going to hear my name called out for dinner reservations or for the hotel, and they'll figure it out eventually if I'm lying to them about my name, so, it's always a simple, "Hey, please understand that for your privacy as well as my privacy, I don't plan on giving out my real first name until we meet. For now, you can call me <another first name ," and that's worked for me so far.
By the time I've exchanged numbers (I have a physical burner phone), there's always someone asking for a last name for a phone or something similar. My name comes out.
My career is a very public one -- think director level -- and while I don't have any qualms with the fact that I date younger women (or pay them to leave me alone), professional me is completely different than personal me. I don't want to have to tell a steady stream of girls, "Well, I could give you a reference if we're still fucking," so, I just leave it at "I work for a <blank " and leave it at that these days.
Like I've mentioned in the past, I'm not out for a string of women wandering around my bedroom -- I'd like to find one woman who I can build a team together and enjoy her company for 5 or 10 years, with the understanding that until I do, I'm going to fuck everything that's hot that I can stick my wrapped dick into; be it the 38 year old woman who just got divorced on Monday who was walking out of the courthouse who I invited out for a celebratory drink (and was then fucking her ass less than 4 hours later) or a 19 year old college student with no gag reflex and daddy issues. What I do might not work for you, and I have no qualms saying there are different approaches for different guys and different situations.
