I just wanted to pass this on. I have an app on my phone that is truly one of a kind. It's called Textfree (however, it's not free) and its an MMS texting and phone call app. You download it, sign up with a fake email and create a username and password. When you first sign in, you select a phone number (local or otherwise) and that becomes your new number.
What makes the app unique, is the other person doesn't have to have the app. And unlike Google Voice, you can send picture messages. I originally started using it for SA, but found it to be handy in place of a burner. You can buy minutes for phone calls, and texting is unlimited.
I delete it from my phone when I'm not communicating with anyone. When you re-install it, you only need to sign in with your username and password, and your texts (or missed calls) are waiting for you.
It's been a helpful little app the last couple of months for, if I remember correctly, $6 to turn off the ads, which were very annoying.

The best massages for the price tend to be from AMPs (I have a couple favs I frequent), as long as they don't walk on my back. I don't push for any extras either. Not that there are any to be found, mind, but they don't need the drama that would come if they were available. If I pushed for extras, got it, reported it, and they get raided, nobody would be happy.

I even think you can sign up without an email. I love it and it puts my mind at ease. My only complaint is it eats up data, like bad. I had to up my data plan. But yeah textnow is a great app. Oh and even if you don't add minutes you can still receive calls.

Using Google a couple years ago, I spooked some girls because of the obvious announcement on the phone that I was using Voice when they called. Textfree acts exactly like my real number does. Maybe I'll look at Google again. Multi-billion companies do tend to evolve.
