Methadone is almost as addictive and in some cases is even more than Heroin. Each persons body is unique at how it handles either H or M. Suboxone is being used more and more because it's addictive qualities are far less and the withdrawals from it are far easier than with Methadone or Heroin. Many pain management doctors who have ex heroin addicts with chronic pain problems are using Suboxone to treat patients rather than Opioid based pain meds. I have had several H addicts that have relapsed tell me that H withdrawals take about a week where methadone withdrawal can take up to a month.
MMgeg was kind enough to send me a link on the subject also Butler and Montgomery are hard hit as I am sure other areas are also hard hit. I believe during the elections it was either NH or Verm that had serious issues also. It is a terrible problem and having seen some meth photos of people who were serious users it is bad in some areas also. Thanks for the perspectives and the links.
