Since most of these apps are used by dealers, johns and sex workers it stands to reason that occasionally a newly issued number has been used by one or two other providers who have posted ads on LC. I've gotten some peculiar texts on my number before which leads me to believe it was once used by someone else for something not so wholesome. It's not a regular occurrence but it does happen.
So this is at least a little more possible than you are implying as it isn't "all the possible combinations of phone numbers" because the app can only issue certain numbers. I will agree that the multiple pictures in an LC ad does happen more frequently than I would think it should, but I've always assumed it was because of this.
