In the suburbs women seek out boyfriends early on in HS / college and they stay with the same guy and do the same thing their parents did as in get married, buy a house in the suburbs, and have children until the process repeats itself all over again into the next generation. Divorce does / will happen but the women in particular quickly remary unless they have become too old.
There aren't any social gathering spots for singles in the suburbs because it isn't needed or even wanted because most people who live in the suburbs are already paired up and only socialize with their own known friends and immediate family. They will just host parties at their own home that has a bar, pool table, and maybe a swimming pool. Suburban housewives in particular are very privileged and pampered group. They usually go from a good father that provided everything for them to usually a good husband who does the same thing. If they feel they didn't marry well they will just divorce and find another guy easily because they can.
On the other hand, in the inner city, and poor areas, young girls don't prioritize marriage, there is little to no family structure, and there is a lack of financially eligible men that are ready and willing to marry them so they remain single for much longer. You figure, men that actually live in Kensington don't need to pick up a SW because they have so many single women living in their neighborhood they can't comprehend guys that monger. In areas like this multiple women are actually sharing the same man and pregnant by the same man even if they don't know it. Even if this is as best as their life gets its ok to them because they get satisfaction out of just being a mother.
Personally, I feel any college town USA is the best place to live and pick up chicks if you're a single male. College towns are usually clean and safe and you have a target rich environment full of young mostly middle class women that replenishes itself every year. Yes, many of these girls do have boyfriends, but they will still be willing to hang out because either the boyfriends live out of state, or they need extra money as a broke college student.
