Alabaster
Have anybody tried these places in Alabaster? They are both in a Plaza like area when you drive past them. Just wondering if it's worth the coins to make that trip over there to either location.
I've enjoyed going to Tru.

One ToFTT
Based on reviews from the forum decided to check out 1 T. Called ahead for appt. Told just knock on door everything would be good. Drove 2 hours to destination. Greeted by short haired small older (50's) Korean masseuse and asked to pay upfront $70. After waiting in room for ten minutes same woman enters. Asked name and told haha is her name. She starts asking a million questions: where am I from, how far was the drive, did I drive from X, do I work for X or X let's say Toyota plant, all the companies in the radius. The massage was pinching and pushing. I start asking her the same questions since they are non stop. Specialized in deep tissue. Starts trying to pop back and neck. The whole time it's relax relax I don't want you to get hurt. This is deep tissue and stretching. You are going to like it at the end. Then she does the checking front door, answering phone calls, yelling in Korean to someone else. I comment they are very busy and ask if other masseuse are available. No one else here even though I can hear another masseuse. As I've read left the tip on table before we started. $$$ she pockets it on one of the several interruptions. Towards the end was the big climatic "brain stem" her words massage. Asks if I want water before leaving. I personally registered to leave this review. For the cost of a PlayStation 5 save your money. Worse encounter I've ever had. Really bizarre attitude maybe certifiable crazy. Leaving this as a warning. Deserve exchange hard earned money for relaxing experience. Not even about mongering at this point. Totally taken advantage of.

Angel
Long time visitor of Angel, but new girl there is awful. Last two times, 35 min when paid for full hour. Last night they even called me, had my number bc I called to see of opening was available, to tell me I forgot to pay. I gave the girl a 100 bill and never received change, I did pay. I called back a few minutes later to make sure they had it straightened out. Was told something like ok thank you see you next time, probably won't be a next time. They need new girls.

She's only doing what she's told to do. I've said before the place is a ripoff and their other location does the same shit.

Both places answer phone, leave to greet front door, smoke and short your time. Owner had a good operation when she was located on Valleydale Rd. With her and another lady. I would not repeat. Too many other places available for good service.
Tug.

Left unhappy
Did you leave a 300 dollar tip in plain view?
Another forum sub section says $ = house fee. I usually double for excellent service $$. Extraordinary would be triple $$$ which I was prepared to do. This is all my fault for not listening to the smarter contributors on here. Never pay upfront before services start. Over it! Found a better place and will never step foot in One T again.
Found a better place and will never step foot in One T again.
Glad you found some place you are happier with. I hate to say this (and I'm not trying to be a "white knight") but it sounds like you might have weirded them out in some fashion.

My only problem was $ one time, $$$ the next.

Question for the seniors
If you go to an AMP and ask for "do the lower back, and go heavy" massage. Am I right that all the legit AMPs can put enough pressure on all your back muscles that they will all be sore the next day?
BTW- Good massage in Decatur, just don't expect extras.
-
If you get a good, professional deep tissue massage anywhere on your body, you'll be sore the next day. That's why they tell you to drink plenty of water afterwards. You're not going to get anywhere close to a deep massage at these tease joints. Those girls aren't going to work that hard. They want to herd you in, do the least amount and get you out as soon as possible. I truly wish they'd all just shut down. None of them deserve a penny.

Full service?
Are there any places outside of the obvious 1 That has full service on the menu?
It's all the same few things around here, good massage limited menu, or great menu and bad massage, and the only 2 places with an awesome massage and almost full menu swapped that one person in them for a noob that does a horrible massage and acts like they learned from sunny.
-
No. And anywhere you've gotten a good massage, there is no menu. And I don't where you got this "awesome massage and almost full menu"[blue][Deleted by Admin][/blue]. But I guess as we all have different interpretations of what good and awesome are.
anywhere you've gotten a good massage, there is no menu.
That's not true. I've thought that at one time, but as it turns out you can have both, or none, depending on where you go.
I've had a noodle hands massage from a "legit" place and I used to frequent a spot with a full service lady (she's gone now) who I would go to just for her massage most of the time.
