That depends on how much money you have
Man, I used to have great times on Fig and LB Blvd! Then I got busted in the car on Fig north of Manchester. Now I'm scared shitless to pick anyone up!
One day I went back to LB Blvd and bought some tacos and sat in the car to eat them and just watch the scene. A WSW came to the passenger window as she was walking by, but I said no thanks. Then a LE pulls up behind with the lights on and cuffs both of us. I had a taco on my lap when they rolled on me! I told them that the chick was not invited to my car window, I was just eating my lunch. But I sat in the back of the car and the harassed the shit out of me for about an hour. I thought I was going, I mean it seems to me the can say whatever the fuck they want in the report and I'm going to get screwed!
Eventually they let me go. I'm not sure if the whole thing was a bluff, but it scared me because I can't afford the drama.
I wish I could figure out a way to monger without having to fucking worry so much. I used to pick up girls often, but now I am just a looker, and it SUCKS! I'm scared to get caught with a SW in my car for any reason. I am scared to be parked and even chatting with a girl that's outside my car. Is my concern legitimate, or am I too freaked out?
Money buys justice. If you're like most of us, then yes your concern is legit.
What happened to the justice system.
I was thinking about this the other day. We are gone from the days where seeing cops patrolling made you feel safe from criminals. Now, every time I see a cop car, I wonder what he's going to pull me over for. I'm sure it's a huge source of stress to the average population, even though we are not criminals and are in fact the taxpayers paying their salaries and paying them to protect us. Instead, I feel like a target because criminals cost money and people like us pay money for the wonderful tickets the police hand out
.
I, too, am scared to go downtown and peruse the merchandise. I got pulled over to get checked out a little while back, and since they had nothing on me, they let me go, but I know it was a scare tactic. I worry that the next time I'm down there a cop will run my plates and the computer will place me in the same area late at night and now there's a pattern and now I'm a target. I can't believe I can drive by all the taggers, gang bangers, drug dealers and junkies and they focus on me.
That's why I can't believe people think we don't have enough cops. There are so many cops they are looking for non-criminals to make money off. Many are like the new mafia! I guess we got the population scared. If you notice almost every show on TV is a crime drama! I am for good cops! I'm for good justice and good laws! But, where did they go? Now a copy will stretch the truth to bust your ass because he "knows your guilty anyway even if he can't prove it".
Now even the feds don't uphold the law. Look at all the shit coming out about the NSA wiretapping every citizens email and created facial recognition databases of photos they take off the wire. The days of the system following the laws it's supposed to uphold are over!
