What is driving all the new spas to Charlotte and the increase in services? For the last 20 years there has been the same 8 or 10 spas and one or two would get shut down and one might open up to replace it. To the best of my knowledge none ever offered anything other than standard HE they said that was a sure way to get shut down in the Bible Belt. I used to go to greensboro because they had a street with 6 or 7 that did full service and were around forever then they all got shut down at once. Being from up north where spas were not often bothered and most did full service it was tough for me being here. In the last couple of years it seems they are popping up like weeds and most seem to have expanded menus. Even rainbow got rid of Monica who had a loyal following because of her great hands and looks because she would not expand her menu (which is still tragic to me) It seemed like most of the existing places had been talking about how slow it had been then the number of new places tripled. Anybody hear any talk from there providers on what's going on?

Cause when LEO shut one they will shut all down. So now that makes 7 out of 10 hits on Tropic. You have an agenda plain to all including?
I heard a year ago that this was going to happen. The reason that I was given was that Atlanta was shutting down spas and making it real rough on them.

Not sure what I was thinking but tried Midori today hoping to get lucky and had a simply horrible time. Girl was cute enough (with rather large breasts, but started up selling me before I got my pants off and killed the mood completely. I must have been on something to think stopping at Midori is a good idea, no one should ever waste money at that place, hopefully I remember that next time.

So busting a AMP is a bigger deal. In NYC going after AMPs is like going after jay walking. It ain't going to happen.
I'm not sure it has much to do with crazy Christians etc but just size. This place is like a large small town.
Monica was not pushed out of Rainbow, she left of her own accord.
Why would they push out someone with a large loyal following like her?
Finally I don't really see too many new AMPs. Just old one's with different names.
I think you are getting confused by the AMP shell game (I can't speak to the non-Asian ones as I never go to American spas so there may be plenty of those cropping up).
However if there were AMPs cropping I'd say it's about time!
Something needs to fill the void here and help remove the bad taste from all the crappy ones.
I must admit I have never seen such bad AMP services as in this town and I've been to at least 6 other cities in the Northeast and Northwest. I can't imagine it's a Southern thing but more of a Charlotte thing. And yes maybe because I'm an atheist from a big Northern city but I have hard time believing a few religious yahoos can make such a dent in the AMP business in the 21 century (I mean where are THOSE guys going to get their fun then?).

Just don't see the owner. $60 at the door and have always gotten alot more than bargained for. Plus the massage is never bad
I do agree we needed new places because the service hear has always been terrible. We also have always paid more for the services because of lack of competition. Most of the spas in other towns have been $50 to $60 per hour for years and still are. The tipping around hear is about the same as most places maybe a little high. It was hard to gauge because all we had here was standard HE and never chose that service when more was available. I don't think I ever had a spa outside charlotte area quote it. I do however disagree its all about size you can go to any number of smaller towns all over the country and they have long term spas. The problem with charlotte being the Bible Belt the cops get much more support for dealing with anything sexual the women love it and the men don't fight it publicly. Up north as long as they don't cause trouble the police don't take notice and are regular members. On the Monica thing she mentioned some issues being pressured to expand her menu because that was the way they were going. They did not want to loose her following but worried about people who were not regulars having different results with different girls. I did not get it from her that it was the reason she left. However I inquired about it from the new girls that took her place and they all said she wasn't coming back because they told her she had to go along with the changes in service. Although I love expanded menu today it seems the concern for good looks and massage quality is a lost art.

I'm from NYC where it's $40-50 for 30 mins door fee and $60- (at most) $100 for FS.
There are at least 500 AMPs in Manhattan alone.
If you leave and go to the outer boroughs (Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, etc) there's even more and the prices get lower since you are not in the city any longer.
In Manhattan a girl of Monica's looks is the bottom rung average.
Most of the girls look like the girls in the ADs these goofball AMPs put here in BP and the avg age is mid 20s.
I've never had a girl ask for a tip up front in NYC.
And every time I go back I go to my usual place on the upper east side or down in Chinatown on canal and get a 30 mins session for $40 door fee and $60 for FS.
That is the NORM.
Why things are not like that here in a small little bumfuck southern city I'll never know and leave to better minds to explain to me.
I still have a hard time believing that in the 21st century a bunch of religious whack jobs can influence the law so much. And as I stated if these yahoos chase away all the AMPs where are THEY going to go?
I like Charlotte and it has a ton to offer but it's these little things that make me miss a big cosmopolitan educated secular liberal city.

The Bible Belt excuse is no longer a valid one in my book. The AMP quality is crap around here because smart providers have better options. Mind you, this is ALL dangerous, but why would you decide to work at a fixed location where cops can bust you if their monthly quota is low?
I know for a fact that the Vice departments up North aren't sitting on some moral high horse. They're getting paid in money, services, or critical information to look the other way.
