Have you all seen the two Mustangs LE drives One red, the other greyish brown. Seen them quite a bit lately. Be cool out there. I have only seen them around the 82nd area.
Not much out lately However I have a new civilian girl who is neglected and love my attention. Takes me off the hunt for a while. I will see if she does girls also. Might be fun to visit a strip club with her.
There were two possibliities of asian girls on 82. One more WSW down north near sandy with pink hair. Not sure who she is but eye contact was made. I did not have energy to pick them up or time. Was out last night, all over east side, at the adult book store, by mcdonalds on 82nd, there were 2 working. 1 was young, coulda been too young, but pretty all the same. Brunette, nice figure. Don't play that way anymore, but know them when I see them.
Other one was dressed for suckcess. Some what older, maybe 35 or so. Short skirt, stockings, yadda yadda yadda. Asked me if I wanted some company, declined. Lots of cops in the area, down by the gas stations, then a little later, something was going on at 7/11, too many cars and dogs on the street. Went back to the couv. This was all after midnite up to 0130
Around 4 30 there was one girl with red long curly hair walking by the tofu place. As traffic was backed up some. I made a detour behind a side street. I saw a SuV with two guys in it. They looked like LE stake out types. Just a heads up.

If you loan money to a SW, then you have to prepared to lose it. SW's are some of the flakiest people you will ever meet. Most of these girls are struggling to pay for hotel room or their next fix. we all feel for you bro. too bad. i would definately find a good lawyer. you will not know what they will charge you with yet. did they just give you a ticked and a date to appear or were you hauled off to jail. there is no room there in jail for you. so after a few hours you were kicked out. it also depends on the evidence. there might not be enough to charge you with solicitation if she was just a hooker. however if it was an undercover cop and they have you on tape. that is worse. more than likely the wife and kids will find out. hard to keep that out of the public realm. sorry. sometime the cops will just threaten you and give you an exclusion notice for 6 months and make sure you do not drive that street again.

portland thinks they have an **** problem but in reality in the last 5 years that i have been prusing the streets. there is nothing **** that i have seen. skanky yes but honestly. if they were abundant like i the papers say. we would call this place bangkok or some other vietnam area country. they just like to try to protect the entire world at such great expense to us all instead of doing something productive like finding the real crinimals.

Yes it was an undercover cop that tagged me. She was wired too. They hauled me off to jail and booked me. Got a a few hours later. Court date is set for Monday. Do you think there will be jail time and / or fines? How much? Now is it worth getting a lawyer since I admitted the crime?

Really sorry to hear this. You should contact a lawyer and ask for a 30 day continuance. He will help you decide whether you want to fight this or not. I would try and find a attorney who specializes in sex related cases. Typically the fine is between $750-$1000. Not sure if Oregon has a first offender program.
The proposed law are primarily aimed at curbing the pimping of minors and increasing penalties. But several news stories are mentioning a fine of $20, 000. The main thing is ask for a I'd if you have any suspicions that a girl could be a minor before making any offer or doing the check.

You never want to enter the courthouse with out an attorney. It will be money well spent. Hard part is finding a good one who is worth a shit. Most suck. I have do not have anyone that I can specifically recommend. I do use three or four different attorneys depending on my needs. Sucks to have that many. However as a good friend says You are railroaded by the wheels of justice with out an attorney.
See the charges on Monday. It is called first appearance. No bid deal. Just say nothing other than not guilty. And ask for time to retain council. They will pospone it. Depending on what you said to the officer. It will be interesting to see if they persue it further. Let us all know. How did you get poped. You violated the basic rules for steet mongering here.

By hiring a lawyer you are showing the the that you are serious. I would look for a aggressive lawyer that is willing to file a bunch of motions. Sometimes the the will decide that the case is to much trouble and drop the case.
I got jacked a while back by some cop that had nothing better to do than pull me over on 82nd Ave and ask me "why am I in a high prostitution area." I had Washington plates and it was about 8 pm on a Sunday. I didn't get hauled to jail, but was cited for Prostitution Procurement. What the fuck ever. I did have to appear before a judge for this misdemeanor "crime". There was no fine, no time, but 3 years probation. The 1st appearance was just to hear the charges and say "not guilty". Next appearance was about 2 months later and that's when I received the probation.
I will soon be getting it expunged from my record.
I used a court appointed attorney, so if you pay, you may do better than me.

Sorry to hear that. You should have fought the charge. Chances are if you got a good lawyer you would have beat it. Especially if the cop did not see you pick anyone.

Man that is no good! I am shocked that a place like extremely liberal Portland would have this law on the books.
Here in Houston a group of lawyers and a couple of brothers successfully got rid of red light cameras.
The city still uses the camera's but can no longer issue tickets thanks to these guys organizing and making it a ballot question.
Some lawyer out there should purposely get himself arrested. It would be even better if he had a woman with him or have a women also try to get a citation. This law is aimed entirely at men. I thought the the the out there was dropping charges on blacks because he felt too many were be arrested compared to whites.
No offence but Portland is one the most fucked up places I have ever seen or been to.

As used in this Section,"prostitution procurement activity" means any conduct by any person that constitutes a substantial step in furtherance of an act of prostitution. Such activity includes, but is not limited to, lingering in or near any street or public place, repeatedly circling an area in a motor vehicle, or repeatedly beckoning to, contacting, or attempting to stop pedestrians or motor vehicle operators.
B. It is unlawful for any person to engage in any prostitution procurement activity with an intent to induce, entice, solicit, procure, locate, or contact another person to commit an act of prostitution.
A good lawyer should be able fight this due one phrase. "but is not limited to". Such obscureness in laws often get shut down by the courts. The other thing is freedom of movement.
Example. Changing a flat tire in a bad hood, you are in hurry and when you are done you leave your jack behind.

I obviously didn't know that. I do not have a law background; I am a hard working professional that had to defend my licensing when it came up for renewal over this shit. The threats of having my car towed and all kinds shit like that made me take the quick way out so I signed it and got the hell out of there.
This was a very over aggressive do good-er cop (Johnny H. That's all I will say). One of his statements to me was "do you know who I am? I'm sure you've seen me on TV busting people." What a jack-ass! Also, this Johnny H. Started preaching to me about being moral and shit like that, even suggested a "god" movie with Kirk Cameron so I can get my life right. Funny!
So, again my advice is like yours, get a lawyer and fight and if you feel you were wronged, file a complaint against the officer, I did- F him!
The public defenders are under pressure to get their clients to plead out. This saves the county money. A friend of mine worked as a public defender was telling me this.

He accused me of dropping off a SW. I had not even talked to the person in question which they found out when they went and got her. But the cop accused me of lying and no matter what I said he called me a liar. We all have the right to remain silent and you can ask for a lawyer anytime during their investigation. I asked for a lawyer many times (I believe they are supposed to stop their investigation when you ask for a lawyer but he didn't).
Once he verified I never talked to the girl then he started on the "You are here to pick up prostitutes" thing like he did with you. He called me a liar again and I just quit talking to him. He told me I was going to lose my car, etc. It was a very long drawn out thing. I did not talk to him anymore through all the threatening and insults. After about two hours he let me go with a ticket about a minor traffic infraction (that was also total crap).

Get a lawyer, that under cover ***** may be good looking, but they alter the report to make it look good. Don't buy it. Ask for an attorny, and fight it. They make recordings of these busts, but don't keep them around, ask for it, if they can't prove it, they will throw it out.
