Second time here. Good TS, cute girls, HE what more could you ask for. First time with Coco I already discussed but I'll say was a good massage and decent HE. Her english was not good, but I think she implied that the owner said no, or perhaps that the owner said not the first time.

On my second visit, the therapist helped me undress, which I enjoyed, and seemed more comfortable with me throughout the massage. And a lot more comfortable at the end. I had a happy ending that was not rushed.

I did not get the name of the therapist, but she was older and definitely not May, who was also there when I went for my 2nd massage. And judging by the descriptions in other posts, it was not Annie (who last probably the other therapist there when I visited the first time). In my opinion May and Annie are much more attractive. But my therapist gave a great massage.

I will definitely go back, but probably make an appointment with May or Annie next time.

Annie does not give massages to my knowledge, just manages the office. I shot the breeze with her a bit last time. She is friggin smokin lookin. If you do get a massage from her. Fill us in.

I've had Annie. Her massage is pretty good and she is attractive - reminds me of Chinese MaryAnne from Gilligan's Island. But no extras are avaiable. I am pretty sure that she gave extras when she worked at Lilly's, but as manager or part owner of Mayspa, she would get in big trouble if caught by LE. When a therapist, not manager or owner, gets caught, management can always claim that they knew nothings about what went on behind closed doors. I am not so familiar with Mass laws, but in other states the consequences for pandering (being the boss) is much much worse than being a prostitute. On the other hand, pandering is much harder to prove.

You have articulated -- with a real life example no less -- [i][b]precisely[/i][/b] the point I was travel to convey to my fellow travelers a couple weeks ago. Exactly. You nailed it.

Everyone jumped over my shit saying "I enjoy the massage more if I tip more" and "treat them like human beings, not sex workers" blah, blah, bullshit. Like I am just some kind of cheap bastard and they're all playas.

I over-tip in just about everything I do -- bartenders, waitresses, with take-out, etc. I do that because I get better results and better relationships. And yes, sometimes I do feel like a big-shot when I do.

I didn't go to an AMP for the first time last month. I developed my perversion at an early age and have invested enough time and money to know (i.e., learned the hard way) that overtipping an AMP provider just ruins a good thing.

It is a SPA, farthest thing from lets say a Mandela's. Kinda stumbled across it. Reason why I got back-channeled about LE was that girl friend went to competing spa for hair and got told about it, WHILE I WAS AT OTHER SPA. Like I said got back-channel info that LE was looking into it (or could just be competition starting shit).

Speaking of tips and topless...

Decided to hit-up the usual, only none of the regular girls were there that day. I was paired with a new lady (far from girl, high-40s?) named Nico or Nicole, I couldn't really tell what she was saying!

The good: damn, this lady knows how to give a massage! Best massage I'd gotten at an AMP to-date. Usually they just treat it like 45 minutes to kill before they flip you over...

The better: I asked (nicely, mind you) for her top to come off, and she had no problems with it! No asking about tip or anything, and they are easily C-cups, damn nice boobs for her age I must say!

And to the Tip: So now I feel like a cheap MoFo, because up until lately I'd been tipping .4 until the discussions on here for bringing it back down to .3 - so I tipped her .3

Truth is, she wasn't the masseuse I would have ideally want to be paired with, but she not only gave a great massage but also got topless, let me roam freely (note: I didn't ask or even try to go into the pants) gave a great HR and cleaned me up nicely.

The Bad: damn the look on her face when she looked at my tip and only saw .3! I definitely did not get the "okay, baby. see you again!" line like usual.

Moral of my story: I plan to continue tipping .3 for what I will deem "standard" service, but I'll keep .4 ready for a little extra special treatment or for a girl I'd like to see regularly, and .5 if I am needing to let her know I'll be back and hoping for more! I'm going to have my own opinion rating system determining what amount of tip to give, because there is obviously no right-or-wrong here, it's all based on how well we are treated/serviced.

Long time listener, first time caller.

I went to FY in Arlington today. I used to see Susan in CT and RebeccaBoston but since they are both long gone, I needed to try some new places. I asked for Lisa, based on a previous report here, but she wasn't in today. I drew Anna. Minimum English, pretty good looking, below the shoulder length hair. She asked if I wanted the shower, so I undressed, put on the robe and slippers, and followed her there. The shower was short and perfunctory, with no attention to where I was hoping for some. She dried me off, led me back to the room, and covered me with a towel to start the massage (medium.) Massage was excellent, almost as good as Susan's, but she kept me partly covered with the towel for the duration. I asked for a sensual, full-body massage. There was no discussion of a tip. The massage was definitely both. Before the flip, I offered some positive reinforcement. After the flip, I had a long massage with one hand teasing and one hand roaming over the rest of my body. She knew what she was doing. When time was running out, Kit finished with a superb ending. I probably should have tried roaming more, but only touched her up and down her back and legs.

Kit said something sweet and started to walk out, I had to stop her and give her. 4 tip. I'm not a fan of raising the prices, but I'm glad I didn't go too low. I definitely plan to go back. (And I got the sense they wanted me to come back as well! ).

One final thought. I do adore the attention I often get undressing and dressing in AMP's. That's was definitely not part of my visit to Mandala.

You seem positive in your ability to just leave $.2 or $.3, so why not just do it. If your approach is not to ask and just leave what you feel you should, then you should just do it.

My personal feeling on this topic is that dining out is a bigger tip scam. The server brings the same number of plates whether I order lobster or meatloaf, so why tip based on the meal value. Sorry about this one, but I think it came by as an analogy previously, so I thought I would abuse it a bit.

When I get a massage, I get an hour of someone's attention, so if it is a reasonable massage, that in itself is worth $.2 (unless the door fee is $1). A good happy ending is worth another $.2, at least to me.

As far as asking, I have had the experience twice with a MP (not AMP) provider checking the tip before I left and giving me shit on the way out. It seems some would prefer to get nothing rather than less than they "think" they are worth. Hence, I ask. That kinda crap does not add to my total experience!

Basic free market economics. When you overpay and prices are non static, it inflates the price of goods and services. Isn't that basic? Chicks get into the game thinking, "I wish I could just get $50 every now and again," then a few clowns pay $100 to watch her play with herself and the price suddenly goes through the roof for the basics. Don't overpay when you don't have to, if not for yourself, but for everyone else. Pretty elementary rule of the game. Thanks in advance for changing your ways. ;)

Some people tip more or less than 15% in restaurants. Others tip mailmen, doormen, security guards etc. At Christmastime. Some tip hairstylists/barbers, some don't. Some drive a hard bargain when they buy vehicles, some are content to pay darn near sticker price.

All of that affects what others may expect and how they view you for what you choose to give. How you tip may affect the service you get. Your barber may or may not make time to see you on short notice, your doorman may or may not help you with groceries, etc. Your service may vary based upon what others have decided to tip these people in comparison to what you tipped or didn't tip.

I don't give anyone a hard time for what they do or don't pay for, and I don't really care what anyone else thinks about what I give out.

People have made good cases on both sides of this issue, and I encourage them to do what they are comfortable with.

If you tip what you feel is warranted, you don't feel ripped off for tipping too much. You also don't feel bad if they make a stink, you know what they want doesn't work for you and you can move on. Just like shopping for anything else.

After reading for a long time about "don't spoil 'em" and pay what you want, I find the conversations on this board amazingly similar to what went on with OPEC. Thus, rather than debate this back and forth, I suggest we start a new organization called OMAS (Organization of Mongers Amping Services) where we fix the price of tipping. Oh, like OPEC, individuals will certainly "cheat" in the hopes of getting better service, but at least on the outside, it will be a united front. Is there anything illegal about this? (this post is entirely to make one laugh at ourselves).

Great board here but the cat fighting gets to me. I don't chime in unless I have something good to share. The dribble from some kills the purpose. Just report for others -it's that simple. No crap or half-assed poetry etc. -just info. And forget the "Senior Member" screening. If LE wnats the info they'll get it. Don't kid yourself. I'm sure there are LE "senior members" out here. That was more or less the point I was making. No small group of over-tippers can jack up the "rate" for all. Besides, I don't provide obscene tips. Also, I don't reward providers that expect or dictate what the tip should be or provide second rate performance, I avoid them.

However, could it be that low tippers will drive a couple places or providers outta the biz. Hmmmm. It could happen! JK!

I saw on the news last night that LE busted an AMP operating out of Wellesley yesterday. I never visited this establishment, but it is still scary. The news reported (Fox25) said they took an "activity log" out of the apartment. What the hell is that? This kind of stuff can really turn someone off hobbying. Nothing is safe.

This is all fair enough. I am not picking a fight with anyone and these are not outlandish statements.

One caveat is that many of us are reacting out frustration from personal experience, where a good provider started up'ing tip expectations and/or lowering service expectations, and where the providers themselves are transparent that someone else gave her a better deal so her benchmark just raised.

Unlike restaurants and dining out, there are far fewer AMPs, SWs, and escorts -- it is a much smaller economy and the actions of a few have a bigger impact.

To those who have said it, you are 100% absolutely right that it is your business and your prerogative what you tip.

Will offer this little anecdote... I have enjoyed going to some clubs in the south which offer $5 lapdances with as much mileage as anywhere you'll find. These places rock! Imagine an entire room of undulating waves of brown rounds -- all girls grinding as far as the eye can see.

The girls there are making as much money as any LD club (maybe not PVD brothels but your typical LD club). How is this possible? Because clubs where they're charging $20-$30 or now as much as $40-$50 (!!) for lapdances, the girls are sitting around 90% of the time. And they're paying for every hour they're there.

Imagine a place where as soon as she is done someone is yelling "git over here!" for any available girl -- none of this soul-crushing having to proposition guys and being rejected 9 out of 10 times. From what I am told, that is the worst part of being a stripper -- not the dick rubbing.

But in these clubs, you do NOT overtip. Do that once and you will find out why (yes, I learned the hard way). I can't imagine many make that mistake twice.

Am I suggesting $5 Handjobs?? No, of course not. But it is worth noting that when buyers cooperate, prices can be kept low without ruining anyone's life in the process (i.e., we're talking about women making as much money as up here and being happy with the process).

there are a couple that I know of. Any idea which one it was? I checked the fox website but didn't see anything.

BTW - there was also a bust in Dedham of an AMP. I believe it was the one that adv as 'near the Dedham Mall' in the Phoenix. Also an escort by the name of Jessica was busted at the Holiday Inn in Dedham last Saturday. Everyone be careful out there!!
