I don't visit L.A. often but been going to Little Tokyo for business a lot recently.

I was curious if there's anything in Little Tokyo, even though I doubt it.

I feel a little bad about tipping $10 to that first one -- as she was the best one. I may go back and make it right. I just don't want to go back and have the third one break my nuts.

I would like to find a Korean place because those seem to have the best odds and I have read so many comment here about them. So I am curious. Still not sure how to find one. So far they only appear to be a mirage. If you have a good suggestion in Koreatown (or any place else, I would be appreciative.

As for the Thai place, not sure how to approach a Thai manager to have them fill a special request of HE? So far I have only had hour-long massages. Again, I really like getting a massage so anything less would be too short. Are Korean massages similar to Thai?

I had some time on my hands and an itch to scratch while visiting your fair city today. I had hoped I could avoid giving in to the mongering urge, having done so pretty much since early Dec. since I’ve been dating, but I finally gave in with the S.O. a few thousand miles away.

Stuck w/o a car at my hotel near LAX, I discovered a place on Sepulveda that wasn’t far. After I got there and went inside, I discovered – to both my dismay and mild amusement – that I had been there before. My experience was that it had been a “legit” place, which gave a pretty good massage, but no real extras … though I recalled finally being allowed to DIY with the massuse leaving the room. That hadn’t been quite as lame as it sounded, which I’ll explain …

Anyway, you encounter a desk when you go inside with an older mamasan type, where you get a clinical treatment and are told you don’t pay until it’s over (furthering the “no extras” aura). You have a DIY shower, which has a locker room feel, but at least the shower is hot and strong.

So back to the room. I’ve already seen in the halls that the ladies here seemed pretty young and attractive and, sure enough, the gal who walked in was exactly that. Very slim, with what looked like enhancements on top (or one of those bras that make it look like more than there is). Her clothes weren’t revealing, but they were tight and kind of sexy.

So she asked what kind of massage I wanted and after exploring the options, I wound up with a medium massage followed by light with hot oil. Wound up being the perfect option. She was pretty skilled, I thought, and gave me a pretty good massage. By the way, you are forced to wear boxer shorts (mine fit very loosely) and covered with a sheet. Nonetheless, it was still seeming kind of sensual as she spent some time on the glutes and upper legs. Besides being attractive, she was friendly – though not really flirtatious. Name of Yuri, by the way.

So, meanwhile, I’m letting my hand room to her legs a little bit, as I’m lying face down, and she’s not resisting. Like I said, she was very slender and her velvety slacks felt good to the touch.

Then came the hot oil. The sheet came off and the oil was feeling good. As she moved around the table, she went under the shorts somewhat to rub in some of the oil, avoiding my naughty bits, but coming definitely close enough to get me interested. I was responding with compliments, charm, and moans (some faked, some real). She definitely knew I was into it.

Then she had me turn over and continued working closely around the package. I was really getting into it. I think it was the combination of it seeming somewhat forbidden in that place, that she was attractive, and that she knew how to tease. This was the same deal as when I was there two years ago and it’s why I was able to DIY without feeling too lame about it. Because she had gotten me really going.

I started trying to move her hands to the right spot, but she resisted somewhat and said I should do it myself. But when I asked for a little help, suddenly she started doing it. After cleanup and a little more massage, I tried to tip her .4 … and what do you know, her demeanor changed a bit and she asked for .2 more. At that point she seemed a little more like the pro (c’mon, I take care of you), than the naïve resistant performer, but I laughed and added to it.

Because I was there early, I got a .55 special for the massage itself, down from .65, so total damage was 1.15. Maybe kinda high, but since she gave me a full hour with a good massage and a good finish, I felt ok about it.

She also gave me some humma-humma that I partially understood about being secretive about it. So if you decide to go, use discretion and try to act like you don’t know that anything besides a massage happens. I don’t know if everyone even gets what I got, after all, I’m 1 for 2 at this point.

Normally, I’m not happy with anything less than a full-throttle GFE, FS experience, but this wound up being a nice change of pace. Sorry for the long story, which I don’t often do, but I wanted to explain the details of the appeal.

I guess I had more success than some at this place ... and actually I would continue to wear the shorts if I went again ... somehow made the whole thing more erotic in the end.

Marc, I appreciate your reports but I'm exhausted from reading about your efforts to swim against the current. Bottom line is that you are living in a greater metro area that is highly concentrated with the kind of experiences you are looking for, but you are focusing on one small area that will not reward your search at this time.

A few years ago K-Town had a decent number of options for mongering massage hounds. That window is closed for the time being with all or most no longer in operation, but who knows when it could open wide again? K-town and much of the central L.A. Basin area is infested with the Thai places and quite simply, you are putting too much effort into that given their extremely high likelihood to disappoint and the existence of what will not disappoint just a little bit further away than the strict confines of K-town.

There are areas of Hollywood, West L.A., downtown adjacent and particularly West Hollywood that host a good number of storefronts that trade on your ejaculation. The same in the SFV, the South Bay, parts of the SGV, and OC and SBC.

However, you and I share the problem of wanting in particular to identify locations where good massage and simple HE predominate over the push for FS with a larger donation and lower quality massage. Most of the places I've come to know in my year of exploring the MP hobby are more FS oriented than rub and tug. For the latter I have relied on 2 places - the better of those two is now at least temporarily out of operation, though my fav. provider there insists they'll be back.

So my 2nd choice for rub and tug close into central L.A. where I also live is Moon Health on Temple near Alvarado - extremely close to K-Town but technically within the hysterically named, Filipino Town. This place is staffed by K-Girls with great facilities for massage and real table shower. The girls are competent to excellent masseuses who I don't believe can be pushed beyond HJ while you caress them above and under their clothes which will remain on. Big Dan actually turned me on to this place and the cutest and perhaps best provider there. Since he gave me the info behind the scenes, I don't post her name. PM BD and ask him to ID her for you. But there are some other cute girls there who know what to do. Some may set out to disappoint you on your first visit as the girl I was with attempted to do on my first visit before I hooked up with BigDan's fav. That is easily cured by abandoning passivity - just ask her to take care of it. Girls in places like this sometimes want permission.

Otherwise know that there is a "strip" of FS AMPs (with some latinas) along Santa Monica Blvd. south of La Brea. Many of them have reports in this section. They are FS but you might get lucky and find a good therapist who doesn't mind skipping the FS finish and accepting the smaller donation for HJ. The girls in these WeHo joints are for the most part HOT, I will vouch for that. Most of them are advertised in L.A. Xpress and L.A. Weekly - they require no effort to find.

Pick-up the basics - i.e. a general rule is that a place that charges $50-60 per hour is either legit or a rub and tug. If the hour fee is less, it is legit. If more, it is FS. Also, see to it that you're bare ass naked when you first get on that massage table - banish your drawers for an hour and don't drape yourself in any towels or shorts left for you by the staff. It simply sends the wrong message. The message you want to send is "This is my ASS, and this is my PENIS and these are my BALLS, and your attention to them is requested".

As a side question to all L.A. AMP mongers, does anybody know the present status of the "Lilly Thai" place on 3rd close in to downtown - not far from Alvarado? This place used to advertise weekly and then the ads stopped months ago - usually an indication that the place is no more. I drove past it today and it looked to be open. A report or PM greatly appreciated.

As far a K-town goes, I just assumed that's where all the Korean shops would be, but I am learning a ton. How sad is this given that sense of direction is the only strong talent I was born with and now I'm screwing up in that department. That would be WEST of La Brea. The places are usually not very visible - it isn't the Sunset Strip or Glitter Gulch with entrances from alleys and back alley parking lots. Read this thread and the ads in the rags I mentioned. Lots of advertising for these places and by and large, they are reliable for providers with youth, beauty and skill, even if sometimes too professional and/or rushed - also many of them are top of the region's price pyramid. But no paranoia. You will leave your DNA behind.

I think we had the same girl. From prior experience, I think you will have to go back a couple of more times before you will know. Most Thai places are legit and any extra mileage you might get will depend on a particular girl and getting comfortable with her. I have had an HE at several thai places over the years but always with a particular girl in each shop. Needless to say its expensive to find that special person who gives a good massage and HE.

Once I have the money to spare I might go back and give it another shot. If you do please post experience or send me a PM. The edgemont place is one of those places where a HE is almost a given.
