I think you will find this article very enlightning. It talks about the state of affairs in Philadelphia in 1913. It's kind of interesting to see how times have changed and how they haven't. Go directly to page 15 to get a feel for the contents of the document. Chen's document makes this relevant.

From my conversations with a few girls I've gotten to know and my own experience, I can confirm that almost everything you say is true. I would point out that most of the unfortunate occurrences take place behind closed doors and UTR. Generally, the activists who are crusading to shut down the AMPs and the general public wouldn't be aware of any of those specifics unless they frequent AMPs themselves or gain the confidence of providers.
My contention is that in the current environment, it's the "in your face" flaunting of P4P that generates the most angst. If an AMP was just a faceless, sign less door with a buzzer, didn't advertise, was hardly mentioned on public blogs (if at all), and had discreet, respectable looking guys coming and going that didn't attract attention to themselves, the problems we're facing might not be as severe.
The big difference seems to be that local LE now seems to be responding to local citizen complaints, which will require AMPs to be more stealthy if they want to survive.

Thanks, that was a fascinating read. It reminds me of a historical museum I visited in a large, mid-western city on the Great Plains. They even seemed to brag about their wild west past and how P4P was rampant in their city over 100 years ago. Of course, P4P was technically illegal, but the city used the "fines" from P4P busts to generate revenue to provide city services and expand the city infrastructure. Funny, the same places were "busted" time after time, but were never shut down until "modern" times. Negative progress for sure, as you can't find a single AMP in that city today.
I think one of the greatest risks to our diversion is when one or more of us gets drunk or high on something and then stumbles in and around a spa making a mess and being noisy.
Might I suggest that after a night of hitting the sauce we just go home and sleep it off rather than cause the disturbances we hear about so often.
Maybe we could find a trash can to put the empty can or bottle in? Perhaps we could all take a piss BEFORE leaving the bar rather than using the stairwells?
Of course, we cannot control what the homeless folks do but we CAN contol what WE do!
If no one complains we will have much less to be afraid of when we visit our friends.

Had a terrible experience with Coco today on Conn ave. She's about a 9 in the looks department, but service was horrible. The TS was literally 90 seconds. In the room, after I saw that there would be no massage, and just go straight to FS I said, let's go slow, but then she did the whole, "no speaky the english" thing, and added derisive laughter. I asked for my house fee back, and miraculously got it.
I'm not ugly, rude or drunk. I have years of positive experiences. Seems like with the current heat the race to the bottom amongst existent providers has already begun.

Its not just the issue of making a spectacle of one's self, but for god's sake give the girls a break. Its very tough on them dealing with rude, drunken assholes.

Def agree to it, and may i add a little to it. For those of you going to AMP for the first time. Please find out where the place is ahead of time. Go there during daylight and walk around find out where the AMP exactly located. When you decided to go, just walk right in. Do not circle the place 20 times and stand around the entrance for 30 mins AT MIDNIGHT OR LATER.

After reading posts on this fine board about recent happenings at Sun, I decided to branch out and try a place on K.
There is some sort of construction happening on the first floor of the building. A woman was smoking at top of rail as I descended stairs.
Answered, yes, of course to the usual question of having been before. Mamasan giggled at that and led me to a room. I was relieved when I saw a pretty head peek around a corner at the end of the hall. In the room I was met by Chanell, who took house and tip up front.
Place was clean and well lit.
TS was good, no complaints. Back in the room, muscle training was better than average. Note I like a good back rub before hand -- I was a bit on edge being in a new place and having visions of a loud, nasty LE muff bust -- this loosens up the right muscles so others can perform at top form.
No AR, but she made up for it with skill at other games. And my ideal bod for a K girl: petite build, pert A cups, round derrier, long & straight black hair. A small bit of French on the flip. At that point I was pretty mad with desire -- the rest was exceptional. She gave the impression that she had a good time.
I have to say this was the best so far of my modest number of expeditions.

Recon finally comes to the surface!
I thought it was standard procedure to go during the day and check the place out. Distance, metro/non-metro, parking fees, the neighborhood. Etc are all daytime activities. If you can't find it during the day, damn if you'll be finding it at night. Maybe after a few beverages. I don't condone drinking. I rather enjoy it. Today you have to be really careful. You can be driving, talking on the phone, eating a sandwich, shaving and getting a hummer. And it's all legal. BUT. If you've had a sip of beer, you're a murderer. Beer on your breath will get you in bigger trouble than anything.
Another point. Rather something I've noticed. If you get your directions from Yahoo Maps, Google Maps or the like. Don't carry the printout with you when you're going to a spa. It's a little obvious when you're looking around at everything and everyone carrying a computer printout. Can you say "I've never been to this neighborhood" any louder.
Just my thoughts.
Be careful out there. You might just run for office someday. And we all know how squeaky clean all politicians are. Right Mary. Or whatever her name was.

Actually, I've seen 2 AMPs in one building in New York City, and in Honolulu.

Yeah... i guess it is where you are at... in Guam they got at least one ground level structure that is divided into two separate AMPs... one Korean and one Chinese.
I have never seen more than one AMP in a building in DC.

The only difference was that the massagi came after the main event. The TS was definitely rushed and it was "game on" as soon as we got back to the room. CBJ was administered right after my towel came off while I was still standing. Not back in the skills department there, except she did this weird thing where she held my hands down. Maybe she didn't want to be touched? We went right to standing doggie afterward to completion. I agree with with GD re: her looks. Her body is amazing. It was difficult to hang on as long as I did. However, her quick pace and lack of personality erase the benefits of her looks and body. I would not repeat.
There was no mama in the house to complain to. I guess my complaint will be to not return.
Looks were a 9+ / Attitude a 4 / Massage a 3 / Overall service a 4
