I set up an appointment and there was no mention of a deposit. I saw her and she looked great, especially for her age. She was super nice and I stayed an extra half hour chatting with her. Full GFE. Yeah this is how Lourdes does it. They have used this for years. I have never booked through them but knew a couple who have and said it's all good. Just be prepared to book within the 30 days.
