Now THAT'S some funny $h!t!
I had almost forgotten all about ol' "gimme those digits - my car has been broken" ImAwaxdatazz. I wonder if he actually got the digits? LOL.
Grain 56.
Curious as to whether you'd consider ImAwaxdatazz as a "trusted senior member"!
Oh, and how's that "semi" retirement thing going?
Lying liars and the lies they tell
I'm glad you feel much better and thanks for your opinion.
The reason the White House and fauci in partiuclar lied about us not needing masks is because he later admitted there were not enough for us silly mortals and the medical community, so they came first. A federal balanced budget amendment sounds great but we would need to dig out of the 27 trillion we are in the red on now, and can only afford the interest payments not a dime of principal is paid. , and if interest rates rise we can't afford the interest. We are in bad bad shape, but we are the best of the worse, and the worse is all other countries.
What all of you guys refuse to face
The 182,375 dead in the US from Covid want their lives back too. Their family and friends probably feel the same way.
You can have an opinion, we all do but facts and science should determine our decisions.
Every single member of team lockdown simply refuses to face or explain these facts.
You're saying that the 180,000 want their lives back? Those are all tragidities.
But these nine fucking million don't want to die as a direct result of the covid mitigation you demand so you can feel safe and signal your virtue by posting about 200,000.

And these four hundred fucking million people don't want to watch their kids live in poverty and god only knows how many die slow painful deaths over the next decade. 400,000,000 MORE people pushed into extreme poverty worldwide so you can fingerwag.

I know you will answer with some bullshit but what you won't do is address the issue and idiots like you are still calling for lockdowns because I guess a half a billion lives destroyed isn't enough so you can exercise your privilege.
The mitigation has a price and it's going to be 10 or 20 X anything the virus would have caused.
Fucking idiots, you all disgust me.
A2.
I don't think we need another lockdown
The first cone could have been handled better but that ship as sailed. People just need some commonsense. If you are high risk then take the necessary precautions. If you like with someone who is high risk, then respect their situation, or move the fuck out. College kids want to party on Campus expel their asses and tuition is still owed and non-refundable. You in public wear your fucking mask. Have a nice time in here. I was just visiting the inmates stuck in the rat trap.
But you're blinded by CNN, think for yourself.
Here are some facts.
China with 1,300,000,000 that's one BILLION three hundred million people who have been exposed to the virus longer than any population in the world is currently claiming that 4,000 people have died from the virus and that they have had 80,000 cases.
India with an estimated population of 1,100,000,000 2/3 rds of which live in such abject poverty the government never knows of them from birth to death is saying that they have had 62,000 deaths from 3,000,000 cases and they have been exposed to the virus for two months longer than the US.
China is just straight up fucking lying and India is doing the best they can but simply doesn't know. (Don't even bother saying shit about it unless you have been there. Millions of people die every year in India that never even get counted.
The US is third in population and third in cases and third in deaths. What a fucking shocker.
In fact if you look at countries by population then look at corona statistics its fucking amazing how all of the totalitarian countries with state run media are doing an out fucking standing job "containing" the virus and fucking Fauchi, the fucking epidemiological fucking genius has never said a word about China's data.
Fucking open your eyes, corona is a serious thing, but it's not the world stopper the media is saying it is. Every single credible medical source that advocates anything except the draconian measures DEMANDED by CNN and their ilk immediately get deplatformed.
Remember three months ago when I said Sweden was doing it right and all of Team Lockdown quoted all kinds of data why they didn't?
Here, now go get your fucking shine boxes.
It's a virus without a vaccine, with an R0 greater than 2. 5 everybody is going to get it and overwhelmingly nearly everybody will make a full and complete recovery and please for gods sake don't quote me the mysterious "proven" long term effects for a virus that isn't even a year old. There will be some and they will be a minuscule number of cases. That won't stop CNN from posting about it non stop. The European countries that were doing "better" than Sweden are now going through their second round because these lockdowns do nothing but prolong the agony.
We agree more than we disagree
A couple quick points.
I agree on Sweden and I do not advocate a lockdown. I do expect this virus will be with us for years (if not forever) and I think when we're comparing ourselves to China and India we've already lost the argument. The entire 3rd world will not deal with this well either (shocker). I would compare the US to the EU (similar wealth, similar population and not totalitarian governments (mostly) to alter reporting) - the real issue in the US is we managed to politicize a virus and any and all possible remedies (after all its a hoax). I fairly loathe all cable news as well as all the nonsense people spread on social media as they've distorted facts with opinions. They're all about eyeballs and not news. I tend to prefer print journalism as you can still find some standards there.
I know. Not the point of this site. I just miss the times when facts were common ground and people more argued about policy rather than what was actually happening.
Don't think I'm blind but stranger things have happened.
Point taken and the EU is probably a better comparison. Comparing the US to China and India was solely based on comparing population with cases / deaths and nothing more. I acknowledge there is a world of difference in every other way between the three.
Things that make you go HMMMM
Am I the only one that has noticed that a lot of monikers that haven't posted anything for quite a while or are still newer accounts are suddenly posting all over the place, mostly promoting the same old known thieves / poor providers and then high-fiving each other and stroking egos..... I wonder where that is coming from all of a sudden.
Grain 56.
It's funny, because it's TRUE
Of course you and I both know where they're coming from.

We've all noticed it. We'll start seeing new posts about KittyKat all over these pages again and we'll have to suffer through the return of the bromance. He may get the out of towners, but most of us know better.
I don't know who was getting more posts about how great they are, Snowflake, KittyKat or one of the several others that were in rotation. Maybe this time around though, we will get new pictures each time a post is made instead of the same old pics over and over, time after time.
"Time after Time" hey, that's by Cindi Lauper, makes me think that maybe he should also pick up a new moniker to use: CaseyKasem5 and post music videos to go with the repeat / worn out posts about the same old girls as well. Most people never heard about these overly promoted girls, they haven't seen the same old pictures reposted like clockwork with each mention and most people have never heard the songs referenced before. No wait, that's already a thing. Never Mind. LOL.
