Independance Day Weekend Saturday
Went to fantasies in Baltimore. On Saturday there's a lot of pretty chicks working. Saturday was a busy night. There was hardly any seats at the bar or the tables. The dancers walked around the bar and I talked to a few of them. Some got fully nude and There was one island looking girl with huge boobs that stood out to me. There must have been 15 or more dancers that night. I didn't get a lap dance but I should have. I will definitely return.
Report on my visit Thurs afternoon between 2-4 on 7/15
On my visit to the block last Thursday. Things look pretty bleak. Started at Circus, sue was still bartender, (not good) and they only had 3 gals. One thin that seemed jittery the whole time, one overweight brunette, and a cuter blonde with short haircut. None were to my liking, and the one beer Sue served was warm!, typical service at the circus. Moved on to Oasis, they had 3 overweight white gals, none where dancing and the bartender was a gal that used to dance with a bad attitude. So, moved on to Chez, no dancers, no bartender. Surprised they had their door open, Red Room is closed due to liquor license and the Pussy Cat club was the same as chez. No one around.
So onto indulge, I do not know what Rob has but there were at least 12 ladies there, ranging from 7 - 10 in looks. The other clubs might take notice that he seems to get the gals to show up and nice looking ones at that. Now the bad news, All the ladies seemed more interested in each other than the clients at the bar. I treated one to a drink who admitted that gal dancing turned her into a lesbian as the both seemed to flirt with each other. Rob was treating the gals to free shot (s) which I think is a cool idea, to get your employees ready to party at very little cost. This might be just done at the beginning of the day, I don't know, but the ladies were having a good time amongst themselves drinking them down. The establishment has been remodeled from pre pandemic. The entire inside is MUCH brighter, the pole in the dance area is lite up with led lights in the pole, and behind the dance area is a large screen TV. On top of this the bar has a strip of LED lights underneath the lip, which lights up your lap like broadway. Frankly I hated the changes. The TV takes away from the dancer, the pole takes away from the dancer, the underneath lights removes all pretense of activity at the bar.
They still have the back rooms, at $220 and the girl get $100 tip, girls drinks at the bar are $25.
So, I went back to Chez in hopes some girls might have shown up, and there was a very cute small black girl there so I decided to treat her to a drink. No one dancing but she intrigued me, she looked like Simone Biles. Very cute. Well, she drank her drink and copped an attitude you would not believe. , as though I should be throwing lots of money at her just for sitting there. That ended that, and my afternoon at the block.
I hope others have a better time of it. It really seemed like the establishments did not care about clients or their experience. Perhaps with time this will change, or perhaps I just had a bad day.
Same experience, same girl a month ago. Avoid
I've noticed some of the bars at the block are "tip" bars. Meaning when you sit with a girl she practically gives you a lap dance at the bar, but a tip is expected. Having said that I wouldn't tip either, if all she did was sit there.
Wish I remembered her name but concur on Simone.
Visiting one of my favorite cities the first week in October
Well, probably my favorite cities for the music and the party atmosphere and the friendliness of most of the patrons in the French Quarter is of course New Orleans. Baltimore however is also one of my favorite cities because of the block. Only in Baltimore can you find a place in the 48 states like the Block. I'm absolutely sure that Baltimore has much more to offer, but when I come there I spend most of my time either in my hotel room watching football, or baseball (with a nearly good looking lady if I'm lucky) or on the Block. In the past I've usually met someone for OTC 2 or 3 or (in a really good week) 4 nights out of 7. When that happens I usually look for the entire night. I'm Caucasian and one of the (few) racist bones in my body is that I'm only attracted to Caucasian women, so I usually spend my time on only one side of the Block where there are still a few bars with Caucasian dancers. I've often been lucky at the Circus (not much of a challenge because unless you throw up at the bar you can usually find someone for an OTC experience, although they might be older, and uglier, and a harder drug use). I also like the Harem, but you have to be really careful giving your number to someone in there since the guy that watches the bar looks for that sort of thing very carefully. I've also been lucky occasionally at the Pussy Cat and the Red Room. Now that Rob has moved to Indulge, I'll have to try there on Day Shift. My home bar is of course The Midway, the only "normal" bar on the block.
For all the bars on the block, treating the bartenders with respect and tipping a dollar with each drink will make the bartender more appreciative and make him / her pay more attention when you need it (to get another drink for example). It will also make him / her give you less attention when you are more preoccupied. Do that often enough and they'll make a point to remember what you drink. As for spending on the Block, I do try to limit myself to buying a girl one drink, if I find her really attractive, and having good potential.
As for tipping, I always tip when I girl gets off the stage. I know I couldn't get up there and strip naked and dance around and since they do, I think they deserve at least $1, unless they just stand up there and don't take anything off and barely move around. Now when the come up, and talk to me and maybe make a little bit of physical contact (like rubbing my shoulders) that's more of a sales call and that doesn't really deserve a tip. If they give me a what I refer to as a "Baltimore Handshake" then I'll give them a $1 tip for the extra effort.
Finally, if anybody has any information to share about the Block, please let me know. I will be making reservations by the end of the week and don't want any surprises (like the Block being closed down). I also would like to ask if anyone else likes OTC, what do you usually have to "gift" for the entire night? You can send me a private message about that and I'll reply with my usual gift.
