What you think sounds fair or reasonable is meaningless. The provider writes the ads and decides when and where to post them, and she decides what services she will or won't offer, in general, or to you in particular. And, above all, the provider decides who to see or not see, who to answer and who to ignore. I'm not really sure how anyone misses this, but I do know that Miss Cate was kind enough to offer you a second chance to submit your info. Consider yourself ahead of the game, and don't start throwing around "deceptive practices".

You see. I had plans to go play golf Fri afternoon. Then I read a post by Ilapp that morning and I had to alter those plans. Over the past few months I've become friends with Teresa. As for "What you think sounds fair or reasonable is meaningless," well, I just didn't say that very well. Your standard of safety has no bearing on her beliefs, and hers take precedence. You may know you're legitimate, but she doesn't. Furthermore, even as an honest hobbyist you may be into some things you consider to be permitted under the menu but she doesn't; she might find that out from your vouches, but she won't get it from the receptionist at your business. Not presumably, anyway. She might find out about your hygiene that way, though. What your money gets you is the right to ask for different treatment, and the right to go somewhere else if you don't.

He and I have talked at length about how you can not ever say with certainty what transpires between two people trying to communicate, the dynamic can have so many facets that those on the outside will always struggle to get it straight. You made your points respectfully, which most all of us appreciate by the way, and that is what this forum is for. BB's position covers the big picture, and it was good of him to throw in the conversation, even though he has never seen Cate, and with what little I know of him I can still say that he probably never will due to his personal preferences. On the other hand, I have had the pleasure of getting to know Cate well over the years, both in and out of the hobby. She is if nothing else a unique creature, mercurial at times, but she is female so that may go with out saying; I find her to be interesting and funny and a few other things. She has fortunately gotten better and better and more strict with her screening, and more sophisticated than a lot of providers these days, when I first met her I am pretty sure that the only ref you needed was to have a penis and you were in. You shouldn't take the age thing personally, if I have heard her say once I have heard it a thousand times that she will not see anyone in their 30's (and under) and she is serious. It is part life experience and part her personal preference, thank God from all of us "elder" gentlemen we qualify by the way, but that is her. I am not saying it doesn't happen, but when it does it seems like 9 times out of 10 she will regret it, or at least say she does. And she truly seldom sees very many new clients, but some of us fade over time, move on to others, retire, go bankrupt or drop out of the hobby for all sorts of reasons, if she doesn't keep her name out there in this business you can be forgotten and passed over in a second. I will also say that having spent a fair amount of time with her in all kinds of situations, that if she answered every email she gets in a day, let alone texts and calls, she would never have anytime left to take care of the "business" so to speak.( and I apologize to the guy Sun. morning when I returned her call by the way if you are here) This is true of a number of providers I have known; some hobbiests put a lot of pressure on them timewise, using it unwisely, and limiting how much they can get done, and is why it is always understandable that getting verified on the first date is always worth more than subsequent visits, as long as you don't dominate their time if they, like Cate, are very giving of it. Hey Osiruss, you will be eligible in a couple of years and may have time on your hands so never say never. I mostly don't care about it anymore, but when I was younger, every provider that turned me down became my project to get in to see, and unfortunately that blind ambition has meant on a number of occasions I wound up being with providers I wish I had taken them at their word and never seen them after all, live and learn.
